Hey Dan,

BSME '90
MSME '98

I worked in between my BS and MS, and was working full time as a design engineer when I wrote and defended my thesis. That sucked. Steve Penoncello was my advising prof.

I assume most of the professors are still around (maybe a few retired). It's harder to get ride of a tenured professor than it is to get ride of herpes.

Most tenured professors have herpes. ( A friend for life, shared by over half the population.) However, as a professor I am a shitty ride, even though you will never be rid of me.

I Ride: It started out as a Bonneville...
Hi everybody.

Name's Brian, I've been riding for about 2 years now (gas prices gave me a good excuse to try it, along with wanting to for a long time). Still riding my XV250, although I'm hoping to move on to something bigger this summer. Most likely a 70's standard or something similar although I'm tempted by Triumph's T100 Bonnie as well. I want a bike that's capable of a little of everything, including forest service roads, but that doesn't look like a spaceship.

Hey, my name is Jeff, and I just moved to Pullman about a month ago. I was going to UW, but I saw the light (and lower cost of living) and moved over here to go to WSU after I pick up a few more cheap credits at the community college.

Anyway, I'm always looking for group rides once it breaks about 40 degrees, so I'll try to stay on top of things and meet some of you in the near future.

My name is Rob Bruner. I am a student at UI (online currently) and I work at Pullman Family Medicine as their computer guy. I just bought an '09 CBR600 and was out riding this weekend when I met someone from the site who suggested I join. I love to ride on the weekends mostly and during the week when I have time. Looking forward to meeting some other riders in the area.

-Rob

My number is in my profile as well. I too rarely answer a number I don't know so send me a text.

Just joined here, though I've been on fzrarchives for quite a few years now. I'm an MSME student over here at UI and have ridden with cord4530 now and again. I ride an fzr600 and a honda cb550, though the honda mainly sits these days.

I Ride: 2008 ninja
I've seen your red BMW on campus for the last few years. Lookin for some people to ride with since the weather is so beautiful. Keep going down waiwai but lookin for more routes. I ride a green ninja (2-fiddy). I love the bike, but am definitely power hungry. Being in college thwarts $ needed for bike wants.

I'm assuming that was a reference to me :-P

A little later in the season we'll be arranging some rides over in idaho (white pine, etc) Some GREAT routes over there.

I Ride: 05 victory kingpin custom
My name is Joe and im employed by WSU, I was riding a red 09 vulcan 500 but now am trying to sell it. Before the weather turned crappy again I was riding my 05 victory kingpin custom and was enjoying the hell out of it. Cant wait for the weather to turn so i can get some miles on the victory, branded " vicki" by me one day after explaining to 50 people what my new bike was. i got tired of saying " 2005 victory kingpin custom", besides "vicki" kinda rolls off the toungue easier. Anyway, i was a member here awhile back, but computer crashed and had a few other issues steal my free time away so i didnt have time to keep up with things here. Glad to be back, --Joe

Hey Roger,

Sorry I missed this news when you first posted. I'm sorry to hear about the incident with the deer. Though I take it you were okay. And the pups were fine on the back of the BMW?

Did you fix the bike, or get something different? Your Sprint was my first inspiration that I may eventually grow up to a sport touring bike some day.
