I'm new to Pullman, been riding for a couple of years, and have been a member on the Moses Lake boards for a while. I ride a Suzuki SFV650 K9. I've met JohnnyM at a BBQ fundraiser for Cary Morlan.

Sorry about the delay in responding, I've been off camping in Montana and just returned. My schedule is all over the place with work, so it makes it difficult to plan things. Yesterday I spent all day riding around and hope to do the same tomorrow! A group ride sounds fun!!

Looks like this thread kinda died at the end of July. In hopes of starting it back up (I can't be the ONLY newbie to this forum), will give my story... rode dirt bikes since I was 12, yamaha 80, then a Hodaka 100 (anyone remember the funnest dirt bike made in Oregon?!); bought a yamaha 125 and raced motocross, tt scrambles, flattrack at Stateline (in the days before it burnt to the ground) and Huetter Raceway back in the 70's while still in high school. At the start of my sr. year in high school spent my summer money and bought a Triumph 650 Bonne chopper; rode it hard the summer after graduating, then traded titles straight across for a '67 Camero the week before I headed off to college. 4 yrs flew by (out of the 6 yrs it took to get thru college!), sold the worn-out car 7 bought Honda 500, custom pipes, full Windjammer fairing and touring saddle and enjoyed it greatly the next two years, including a full summer touring most all of Idaho while a rush chairman for a frat at UofI (do you know Kimball?). Graduated in '80, got married that fall, sold the bike, and... like others here have said, poof!, 30 years go by with no riding...!? (Oh, the humanity, and all the passengers screaming around here!). So after talking about getting the bike of my desire with the wifee for the last 2 years, and finishing a couple of major tasks around the house, this July I bought my first Harley, Dyna Super Glide. D@mn! what a ride. Been riding solo out of L-C Valley (but work out of Pullman on campus), old spiral hwy is still a kick for practicing your cornering, as is the ride out to Enterprise and back via Rattlesnake grade. The run up through Kendrick/Southwick/Ahsahka and back down the Clearwater to Lewiston is a great little winding trip. Had to make a ride up to Pullman today, otherwise would have met up with the group that rode the Rattlesnake today out of Asotin. Hope to meet up with you all soon before winter sets in... okay, novelette is done, let's hear from some of you other newcomers!

Considering this thread appears to be dead, it is an 'introduce yourself' sticky so I thought I would go ahead and do so. The names Nathan (Nate is fine if you can't tell by the screen name) and I moved to Pullman at the beginning of this school year with my wife (she is the student, I, sadly, am not...) At least I theoretically moved... I currently am only home Sat. through Mon. as my job is still in the Tri-Cities. Hope to be in Pullman full time starting January. Any who, I ride a red Triumph Daytona 600 that I have named twoface (the fender damage on the right side says it all, god I wish more people made aftermarket parts for this thing) Once I am in Pullman full time I will be looking for rides as often as possible as I would love to get to know the roads out here.

Welcome!! The season is pretty much over for now (unless you have a dual sport) but come next season it'll be great to have another active rider. You'll love some of the roads around here, quite good, quite good...

Welcome Nate! Hope several of us can meet up next spring and enjoy some riding, there are several good loop's around the Pullman area. I have made it a personal goal to continue riding at least once per weekend through this winter. Only possible because I live in the L-C valley, but even here I got snowed out two weekends ago. Rode an hour today in a big loop of the valley, 39-40 degrees but had some sun, so hey it's all good. Crossed paths with one other rider going across Southway Bridge so I'm not the only crazy one down here...

My husband & I live in the suburbs of Dusty. I ride an 08 BMW K1200GT and an 07 BMW 650GS (this is the one parked in front of the Dusty Country store most of the time until snow & ice stop the ride) Lots of great riding out in this neck of the woods - stop by the store on a ride when I'm working I'll point the way to some fun ones

I have talked with your husband a little bit, he is the one with the Triumph Sprint correct? He is a customer of mine at Go Wireless (the Verizon Wireless store) and we have talked a little about any good rides around here. I'm hoping you guys will be able to join us on some rides this year, I know I can't wait for the snow to go away so I can bring my bike back out.

Hi. My name is Mike, I'm a WSU graduate who moved here from the west side in 2002. I'm working for WSU's Center for Materials Research as their IT guy. I picked up an 84 Honda VF700s last Fall and have ridden it just a bit. Got endorsed in Spokane in September but had to garage it soon after because of weather :/

It would be awesome to do some groups rides with you guys.

I'm also getting an older KTM 250 and hoping to do some dirt riding, just have no idea where to go.
