Group Ride!!! Sunday Sept. 20th
Ok so i do not have a rout planed, but i was thinking either White pine or rattlesnake. I have done rattlesnake many times, and only done white pine once, so i am leaning more towards white pine. Meet at the Cenex in pullman at 11am. Let me know what rout you want to ride. See you on sunday.

Gum-B I will see if I can take Sunday off. I really, really want to join you on this ride, however I am second guessing the tires on the R6 and don't have the funds to put new ones on...

Only time will tell unless someone has a set of take-offs they could hook me up with?

I think I'm in. Might be the last one of the season depending on weather conditions.

In...

You know, there is always the run down spiral to the river, down and across the bridge at Orofino, up through Asahka, over the praire then down to Kendrick, up to Deary or Troy and back...fun little day trip...

excellent route, and harvest should be pretty much done,so the grain trucks shouldn't be a problem

Hinks2000 and I rode the stretch from Kendrick to Ahsahka about a month ago, just to check it out. There are some pretty rough spots and significant holes in that road. Hinks didn't have any issues, but I got beat to death. Of course, my H-D basically has no suspension!

Anyway, I'd be more up for the route we did up around Lake Cd'A. That road on the east side is my favorite!

Why? Then it would be easy to ride, like a sportbike. No challenge.

Last time it was about 200 round trip from pullman. The milage depends on the rout taken around the lake.

Whitepine is about 115 from Moscow and back.
The east side of the lake is 200+.
The Whitepine/St.Maries loop is about 150.

If my Saturday night is mild enough I'll be there. Where is the Cenex located?

I think I'm going to do the Rattlesnake, nice gentle pace, if anyone would like to join me.

Gum-B, I'm gonna have to say out. I still don't have the mounts for hiway pegs, and ridin with the mid controls is murder on my knees. Long rides are out for now.

I ordered the parts, and paid for them, at a nearby H-D dealer. Two and a half months ago. And they haven't even ordered them! They're selling the dealership and said that everything is 'frozen'. Well, they can freeze their friggin nuts off. Think I should talk to a lawyer?

Yeah...uh...last I heard, Mr. Shumate is probably gonna head to the big house, or find a way not to. Baaaaad ju-ju goin' down...

Depends on which ride you take...4 hours if you follow me. Honestly, Gum-B...you might want to consider the Orofino/Asahka/Kendrick run instead...Rattlesnake is nice, but its been done more times this year than in the past three combined.

I'm still in for a ride tomorrow, but I'm thinking I may head that direction instead...and, of course, anyone is welcome to join the fun. I'll be on the same ride from Pullman to the bottom of spiral, though. Then off to Orofino, lunch at the Woodshed at the base of Dworshack dam, and some fairly fun twisties to be had from there!

The route: Clicky

Mr. Man I'm in on your rout. Looks good to me I say we take that way. I'm all rattlesnakes out and I'll be on white pine next week so I will follow the ape.

Well, I checked my records, and the parts were on my Am Express, so I filed an Inquiry/Dispute with them.

Won't be riding today, as I need to finish some electrical work at home. I might take a spin on the Snake at around 1:00, so if anyone is interested they can meet me at the Asotin ZipTrip then.

Watch out for piles of pine needles from Asakah (or however you spell it) through the grade down to Kendrick. I have too many things to get done today including stopping the oil leak on my blue bike.

You called that. If there were less needles on the road, chances are some of us would have ended up with awards...and by that, I mean Gum-B and myself! Not that we were really pushing it or anything, but what are the chances of seeing two county LEOs within a mile of each other on the same damn practically deserted road?

Oh, and next time we need to take the dietary concerns of some of the riders into consideration when stopping to eat...man, I had no idea how hard it is to find vegetarian fare in B.F.I.!

At least he wasn't vegan..."that's just crazy!" Awesome.

That was probably my fault. Doesn't matter what road I ride they always find me. I think they have a tracking device on my bike.
