County dirt roads perfect!
Get out and enjoy them. Couple recommendations:

1. Don't take your front-wheel drive passenger car. Not even tire chains will help.

2. Don't laugh too hard about stuck passenger cars. Karma will bite you in the ass.

3. Knobbies are probably a good investment.

Do those roads connect towns or something?

I would guess a dual sport would be the only way to get around out there.

Pretty much. We have gravel in some of the bigger villages.

Nope. The Lexus was on a road above the Snake. This was near the airport road. It was the nearest dirt road I know about and it didn't disappoint.
