hey eric, it is strong words from you buddy isnt it. yes, i agree it was a foul, but it could of gone either way. oregon got lucky on behalf of the refs just like they did when it came to the oklahoma game. now that that issue is over, is it a bad officiated game when the refs have to be ran out of the arena by cops nearly 1 second after the game is over. now to the cougs...i commend them and their trys. but tonight i have two "issues" to bring up. they were horrible when it came to offensive rebounds, and as it has been an issue all season, they struggle when it comes to finishing. derek low had 37 points, but then again, cowgill had ZERO! the bench did amazing for the cougs with baynes and mathews. it was an amazing game, come overtime the cougs got off to a bad start but they fought and fought. they had 2 good looks at the basket in the last seconds but failed to connect until cowgill hit a 3 just a tick after the buzzer. to be soo close. i fucking hate it and literally wanted to riot. but too all tho cougs out just to let you know...as one of the refs was running off the court he got hit in the head with a water bottle! justice served perhaps...but not really. what the cougs need to focus on is arizona next thursday and then look forward to beating the shit out of oregon in Eugene

----coug at heart...go COUGS!

Go ducks cougs were cheating there with .5 seconds left hacking them up. With out Low throwing shit up from the heavens and somehow going in they would have had a tough time keeping up.

good post.

As horrible of a loss as it was (It pretty much made me sick to see them blow that game) in the end it really comes down to their ability to fight back and finish. They WILL make it to the tourney. They just need players to step up on offense besides Low.

Can anyone get me tickets to the UCLA game? I want to sit on the student side!!!

all i have to say is that they finally FINISHED a damn game. i think it was the best game of the year, and if not the best, one of the top 3. it would be nice to see Ivory Clark not foul out even though he was player of the game.

Yes - they finished strong for once and didn't have to take it to OT. Ivory was on top of his game. I'm surprised more Cougs didn't foul out the way they were giving us fouls. I think AZ finished with 4 team fouls in the 2nd half

I'm no ref, but it has looked like they have been pretty lenient this year as far as not calling fouls goes. Clark has fouled out 3 or 4 times this year, but as long as he keeps playing the way he was and they keep hitting those threes the cougs will continue to win!!!

That was a tough one but they stuck with it. Ivory was a monster, yet again. Poor Huskies haven't beat the Cougs in two seasons now.

That's because the Huskies suck and U of W is a third rate institution.

My prediction is that they kick the Huskies asses in the tourney. Oh wait! The Huskies won't be there. I guess the Cougs won't get another chance this year.
