| Knee Dragger Joined: Aug 2005 From: Moscow I Ride: Only girls now... | Um, I ran that road today. All is pretty clean, Spirial I think is sketchy but fun at 40ish. Anatone is clean, and the top of rattle had some rough spots but when you get out of the tree area it gets sexy. I even went to the Oregon side until it got gravelly. |

| Chicken Strips Joined: Jun 2005 From: Portland I Ride: 848 | Andrew, Yea I agree bro. There is no need for a fast pack speed, especially this early in the season, especially with this many riders. This will be one of my first rides this season, and tho my pace last yr was always pretty spirited, I will be taking it easy on the newly painted bike and getting used to any changes in the road etc. If you are someone looking for a spirited ride, feel free to put a distance between the group, and just meet us above rattlesnake. I have no problem riding with people that want to push it in that area because i have never seen a cop on rattlesnake and there are no home owners on rattlesnake. As a P.S - Rattlesnake IMO is the worst place to eat shit. There is no cell phone, help is a long ways away, and someone either has to get to the very bottom or the very top to be able to call for help. If you do have a bad toss help is at the earliest 45 minutes away I would guess. |

And Johnny, I'm riding the fat-ass bike, and I tend to ride just a little slower than most of the sport bikes. I usually end up riding clean-up and I can always use the company! See you all on Sunday! |

| Novice Racer | I think I saw you riding down the Spiral tonight. I was riding up, just past the tree corner, when I saw what looked like a black YZF600R and a rebel going the other way. If that was you, I hope you hada a good ride. |

| Je Fa Fa | Yeah that was me and vennom, I saw a blur of neon with a huge wave. it was good times. Here's a vid I made of vennom whilst we were there: I don't know how to embed the vids, or I'd just post it up. |

| Novice Racer | Looks like you were having fun. As Andrew said, please do us all a favor and stay in your own lane. At the speed that he was going, there was no reason to cross lanes. As a matter of fact, there really isn't a good reason to cross lanes in normal riding. If you feel that this is an unnecessary rant, please consider what happens if the "blur" you mentioned earlier is coming around the corner the other direction. Ride fast, ride safe. Jim |

| Peg Dragger Joined: May 2006 From: NOR-ID I Ride: Twisties | That's the nice way of putting it LA. Just stay in your lane and everyone's happy. It's also more fun because you need more lean angle in your own lane to maintain the speed. |
