Ride 10-14-07 out of Palouse
Anybody wanna ride Palouse to Rosalia to StJohn and back through Steptoe with a possible ride up to the top of Steptoe butte (weather dependant) on Sunday??

I was thinking of leaving Palouse about 1:00.

If the weather is as nice tomorrow as it is today it should be fabulous. All paved (despite my KLR's objections) and some nice twisties for the ricky-racer crowd. I'll be going approximately speed limits.

Not sure if the tavern in Rosalia is open but if it is, they have nice burgers and are under 21 friendly (I think, just don't try to order a drink and they'll stay friendly)

I'll have beer and hot chocolate at my house in Palouse afterwards if the deer don't lead Johnny to it first. (The little antlered rats are a bad influence on him.)

Probably don't have any PBR. Some of you might have to do with Fat Tire, Guinness or Alaskan. If you really want bad beer I might have some old homebrew left over from a chemistry experiment gone wrong...

Damn! I’ll be in Lewiston all day! (I am taking my STAR motorcycle class)

What time do you think you’ll be back? I could stop by for a hot coco after the ride.

Directions
Not much reply so I'll be leaving from my house shortly after 1:00.

Directions: from Moscow You'll be coming in on the Palouse Cove Road (hwy 66) as you come in to Palouse it curves down into town. Just go straight on Sumner street when the main road curves. Go two blocks to Union St. and turn right (east). Go to the top of the hill and turn right on Wall St. Go one block and turn right on Elmo St.

If You're coming from Pullman you"ll turn right towards Moscow and then left onto Union st. going east. After that the directions are the same.

Call if you want to 509-878-1613

I'd put up my address but Google and all the rest get it wrong by about 3 blocks and it really screws people up.
