What the hell??
... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 10 am PST
Friday...

A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 10 am PST Friday.

Steady snow from a slowly exiting frontal system today has
resulted in snow accumulations falling between 8 and 16 inches of
snow. This system is slowly exiting to the south and a break in
snowfall will occur... but it will be brief as yet another weather
system approaches and will affect the area overnight and into
Friday morning depositing an additional 1 to 3 inches of snowfall
on average... however localized additional accumulations of up to
6 inches cannot be ruled out.

Rather than end the ongoing Winter Storm Warning due to the brief
break it has been extended until 4 PM to accommodate the snowfall
from both of these weather systems.

Blowing and drifting snow has become less of an issue but drifts
that did result from todays storm are certain to become more
unmanageable with this additional snow.

Just so you guys know, you can totally blame me for all this. Last year I was bitching about how there was no snow in HI that year (random dry year)...apparently the weather god heard me and is saying "here, deal with it."

If I'm considered "essential", I want a pay raise. If I go to work, it will only be to take advantage of empty parking lots

where you flying from?

There is a certain old ford waiting outside for me right now that jim might remember. It'll take me up to spokane tomarrow to fly out.

I think the plowers are considered essential personel also.

btw…talked to my ex, he works for grounds at WSU…(not the heavy machines guys that do the plowing), he had a 12 hour day shoveling, he was practically dead…he’ll probably put in the same hours today. He falls in the category of “essential personnel”
