A case of beer
is the prize for the first person that can come over and get my little green baby started. It really wants to turn over, but no dice, and now the battery is groaning.

Take it to the top of biggest hill in Moscow and push start it.

I'll 2nd what Ken said: pull the plugs and clean or replace them. Charge battery. If it is still hesitant to start, a little ether in the air intact.

I agree with everyone else..Pull the plugs and get a trickle charger..clean/fresh plugs and a new battery and odds are that baby will fire right up.

What is it about green bikes this year?

I tried to start the CB350F last night and its DEAD. Not "dead battery" dead, but like "turn the key and the lights don't even come on like a main fuse is blown" dead.

Obviously I pulled the battery and checked it out...its good and so is the backup I have in my garage...no effect. Checked the main fuse with a multimeter...good. It has power at both ends when in the circuit. Next step is tracking down where the current flow ends on the bike.

I wonder if this is related to that strange "washer falling off the bike and hitting the ground" metallic noise I heard when Plummy followed me up to put it in storage? Hmm.

carbs might be a good bet, i have to drain the bowls of my roommates kawi every spring, it comes out supper dark brown let it run for a second till it clears up then the bike starts right up.

Also on my dirt bike one time i shut off the fule drained the bowl then filled with carb cleaner, let it sit, drain, durned on fule and started.

Yea! is it purring yet? If not, consider Sunday. (see maintainance day thread) Nothing like a team of brilliant analytical minds working as a cohesive unit to analyze and solve a complex problem.

or, if those guys aren't available, we could look at it.......... drink a few beers........... whack it with a hammer.

lol...sorry, i have been slacking here at the forum lately. we have alot going on with our adoption plans.

oh...i prolly forgot to mention that to most of you. we are adopting 3 children (i know, i know...we are crazy, but i love being crazy!)

but no, i havent had the time or resources to even worry about my bike...it's pretty low, like at the bottom, of our priorities these days. I am actually ready to let jeff borrow it for as long as he is still in town...if'n he wants to. steven is pretty sure its the sparks and plugs...and i know the battery is dead, but i dont know if it can be recharged or a new one is in order.

because they are siblings. they have lost enough in their lives without losing each other as well. and because we think three more will be a perfect fit with our family right now.

Okay, aside from the adoption part of this thread...I'm officially tired of it...the part about Sherry's bike not running to be specific.

I'm going over there tonight and pulling her battery out. I will take it home, refill fluids if needed, charge it up, and I plan on returning with a can of starting fluid tomorrow afternoon/evening after work to reinstall the battery and fire it up!

I might even start the bike...and take it for a spin with her blessing...

Oh yes, it will start...

I think 250's have a weight restriction. The abuse you put your poor 350 through
