Crap...more of it. I rode to Tri-Cities yesterday and had to ride back this morning. I was riding in front of that storm that hit around 11:00 the whole way. I actually had a legitimate reason for speeding the entire way. I wasn't back in P-Town for more than 15 minutes when the hail started.

BTW, the road from 12 to Dusty (Central Ferry) is fairly fun with the proper amounts of speed applied.

What are you talking about? You live in the valley. You wouldn't know a winter if it bit you in the ass.

I still wanna try the zip-ties around the tire and wheel working as sort of plastic "chains". I bet that would work, and with a proper design (wider ties, more durable and flexible plastic with "teeth" to bite into the ice and snow) I bet it would actually make it possible to ride with a small amount of snow on the ground...or at least get enough intermittent traction to high side...

We just need to get some of these tires:

So, since it can't be called a darky in this case, are they leaving "whities" on the corner exit?

that zip tie idea could be either awesome or not awesome, but using screws as studs....not awesome.....I could see one from the front coming off and popping my rear

I'd rather be bikeless than stuck at home with a 4 year old. There's a reason I have no kiddies!
