ya, it always sucks, but someone has to be there to watch the races that early!

btw, the 250 races have been better than the big bikes the last 2 times I've seen it......

Hey, did you make it out of town OK? I swear I saw you heading out of town up the hill towards Colfax, then pull off at the bus transfer station to look at directions. I pulled around to see if it was you or another fellow rider in trouble, but by the time I waited for the light and looped around, the bike and rider were gone...

Nope I made it out ok. Missed that turn you mention and ended up taking a detour down to Clarkston along the river. No traffic, great visibility, sweet tarmac, awesome ride. Sometimes those "mistakes" turn out great. Yeah it added about 100miles to the day but worth it.
