Need Help, Need Part ASAP
So I am currently in Pullman along my trip from Anchorage, AK and I made it all the way to St John for my LAST gas stop and forget to put the fucking gas cap back on. I need to be on the road by Thurs or early ass on Fri at the latest. I am riding a 2008 Suzuki C90T and will pay $. I just can't wait for the parts to order in at Mac's. The part is going for $43 so if you are willing to sell yours to me let me know what you want for it. Any other ideas will be helpful as well. Thanks.

I guess after five days on the road I was looking forward to a hot shower and some beers with my friends to much. Oh well, I still need the gas cap.

I am heading south and there is a shop in Boise that probably carries them or can get it quickly. I just don't want to ride that far without it.

What, don't act like you don't like hot showers with friends too. I thought everyone did!

Dude- hardware store. Look for expanding cork-shaped rubber plugs designed to plug holes in pipes or the sides of boats. Good temporary fix, plus to tighten all you need is a wingnut. Call ahead for the real part at one of your next stops and you'll be good.

Especially if you light it on fire. Doooooo eeeeeet.

Seriously, something that could happen to anyone though. I recently lost a case of DVDs cause I drove off with it on the roof of my car....

You might want to try calling Jimmy G's in Moscow...he usually has a lot of "stuff" laying around...and he might have a cap in stock...or one that will work...

I already contacted Jimmy. He told me to go to Shucks and look for a Subaru, Suzuki, Honda, car type gas cap........and no shit I found on that fits. I also called Macs service dept and asked if it was a sealed cap or a venting typ and they said sealed so I am all set until I can order a new one, but the one I found works fine. I have know Jimmy for over 10 years. He is a great guy. I appreciate everyones input, even those laughing while typing.
