I said it before, I'll say it again.
You'll see Vale in a Ferrari before you see him on a Ducati.

I Ride: badly
He's an Italian so its a given, he'll finish his career in red. Ferarri gave hime enough seat time to prove if he was fast, just did not make the cut to be able to win in it. Plus being able to win on any bike will prove its him and not just the bike. The only question is $$$$

He's Rossi, he'll do whatever he wants or pays him the bucks!!
I dont see him giving up the fame, power and records of MotoGP until He cant be the Top Dog. IE someone whips him regularly

Don't be so sure. Ducati's already making moves (Guaresci now as rider manager) and I even read recently there were reports that Vale and Burgess were spotted at the Ducati factory.

Speculation for now. But this will keep things interesting for the next year and a half.

Ducati made heads turn recently when they appointed test rider Vito Guareschi as a middle manager of sorts on the GP team. This was widely interpreted as Ducati "preparing the nest" for an eventual run at Valentino Rossi as Guareschi and Rossi are said to be close.
