They said his tires basically just weren't warmed up and they didn't actually do anything to the bike. Fun to watch though. Thank god for Tivo so I could watch teh seahawks then MotoGP. |

Since I'm just past my 1st year of sport biking I started watching the races a bit this summer since I now have some familiarity to the whole thing. I'm hooked now MotoGP is badass |

While I have the proper level of amazement at Rossi's skill, things sure are more interesting now that a lot more riders and bikes are in the hunt, instead of it being the Rossi show all the time. Kawasaki and Suzuki really came alive with the move to 800cc, and with Hopkins/West and Capirossi/Vermeulen at the respective controls next year, 2008 should be another hoot. And of course, if this year is any indication, Stoner could establish a dynasty . . . although Melandri will also be riding a works Ducati next year, and he could have other ideas. ![]() What I find curious is the big flap about going to a spec tire now that Bridgestone has broken Michelin's 15-year dominance of MotoGP. I'll grant that it has worked well for World SBK, but if the research and development work in MotoGP trickles down to improvements in consumer tires, I'd hate to see any of the participating tire manufacturers excluded. |

Why did Hoff get dropped? And why has Loris only won a single race? Must not just be the bike. Stoner is the new king, face it. He is here to stay |

BTW, bikes on the same team are not created equal. Never have been, never will. The "A" rider gets the best bike and best new parts etc. Stoner is the "A" rider for Ducati. His bike is better than his teammate's just like Pedrosa's bike is always better than Hayden's. |

If Rossi didn't have his 'issue' then it would have been alot more exciting to watch them really battle it out. Guess we'll just have to keep watching to see what the points difference is at the end. |

I hope Nicky goes somewhere else next year and wins the championship again. Or at least finishes higher than any Honda rider. Another "in your face" for Honda after the Rossi debacle. Serves em right. |

He was supposed to be the golden boy for Honda and then Nicky went and won the Championship anyways. Nicky's bike constantly had "test" parts on it (thus he kept frying his clutch all the time last year). The fact that Nicky won the championship last year was indeed, a total slap in the face to Honda. That was some true freakin' talent on Nicky's part. Kudos to Stoner too. I'm a huge Rossi fan, but Stoner can ride that Duc like no other. Last year everyone just saw him crashing that satellite Honda, but the Duc can handle what he throws at it. I was totally bummed about Rossi coming in again. I read online that he thought the wheel lug was loose, that's why he kept shaking the bike around. It was dipping into the corners REALLY hard. He rode like hell in that race. I got pissed at the coverage during Rossi's pit because they didn't show the running order for like 6 laps so we didn't know what the hell was going on. Rossi's gonna take second though. It's his. Thus keeping his dynasty alive. He's never come in lower than 2nd in the championship except for his rookie year in 125cc when he came in 9th. FORZA ROSSI!!!!!!!! |

It sounds unlikely, but no more than the Doc crashing out at Sachsenring and having a mechanical failure at Misano. I just hope we can end the season without Elias torpedoing anyone, and everyone with all their fingers and collarbones intact. And I'm pulling for Hopkins to dislodge Pedrosa for third. |
