spoiler*** WSBK finale
great set of races! tough season for me, my fav riders are haga and toseland. can only root for one and haga is the man. was very happy with toseland's shitty start in race 1, but props for going from 18th to 6th? i may be a dick, but as good as the last race was i was hoping toseland would crash on every friggin corner so haga could win. then the douche bag max suzuki somethin crashed out. then that lazy kawi fell off pace and let toseland fly away.... dammit.

WSBK was 10x better than motogp this year. came down to the final race, and only 2-3 positions, and haga on fire, decided the title? fuckin sweet. no douche moves like rossi chuckin the final race last year, no tire battles this year. great series!

just one question. i would assume WSBK gets somewhat 'close' to the same treatment as motogp from tire manufacturers? how come they didnt suffer from a tire battle as well?

They are all on the same tires.
Was a great race. I too was pulling for Haga as well. Got nothing against Toseland but Haga has been so close so many times and just cannot capture it. Reminds me a bit of Randy Mammola.

It's been a rule for a couple of years now. They are on Pirellis. I thought it a terrible idea at the time but I've been proved wrong. The spec tires coupled with the Ducatis not being allowed an unfair cc. advantage turned that series completely around. It was probably the worst series to watch three years ago. The only thing that had a chance of competing was a Ducat.
The rules have been changed again for next year to again let Ducati have an unfair cc. advantage. I'm wondering how long it will take them to again make Ducati dominate.
I have been hearing rumors of the GP series going to the spec tire rule. Might be a good idea.

I just got done watching World Supersport Vallelunga. Great race. WSBK & WSS have beat the piss outta MotoGP for the past 2 years. Magny Cours is probably my favorite track to watch WSS, except for Imola, which is just nuts. Can't wait to watch those races next.
