Dear God;

Please allow Michelin to pull their collective head out of their ass and make a better tire than Bridgestone next year.

Currently, there's no doubt that Rossi's fun to watch when he's runnin' at the front. I hope he gets Bridgestone next year. There's more brilliance to come.

Hey he's looking pretty good.
My point really was everything is a part of racing, tires, bike, team , rider you can sit "or stand" and say all day long what if or make excuses. In the end the argument "if they were on the same bike" does not work. Stoner is the champion this year and Nicky fried chicken was last year.

I was talking to GixxerPete yesterday and he finally agreed that Rossi is just too old. But hey, he had a good run, a legendary career. Enjoy retirement Rossi.

Rossi's bike looked awesome last race. I really enjoyed it. I think the tire rule should be 1 tire brand. And no traction control on the bikes. That would make it real and equal racing. Much like F1's gonna do next year.

BTW, transported, if you havent seen the phillip island race, download it and watch laps 5-15 with Nicky Hayden. Then lemme know what ya think!!! All i can say is huge powerslides. It was really fun to watch.

But its one less excuse he can use. It will be funny if Rossi and Pedrosa both get their Bridgestones and their teamates on Michellins kick their butts!

I wonder if all your frustration is tied up with Rossi getting to old to race and the fact that you are not a spring chicken anymore either. Hmmmm.

Yeah 28 is way too old to race.

No my frustration is with people who seem blind to reality and in denial of other very significant factors in the outcome of this past MotoGP season.

Or let me put it this way. Let's pretend Rossi and Stoner switched teams at the beginning of this past season. If anyone thinks Stoner would have still won, they are either hopelessly deluded fan bois or clueless fucking morons. In fact, I would lay any amount of money if any of the top 5 or so riders took Stoner's place, they would now be champion. Kinda how it used to be in WSBK a few years back: whoever was the #1 Ducati rider was all but guaranteed to win it.

I find it sad that Rossi is attacked and derided for simply asking for a level playing field.

Meanwhile Ducati has historically pissed & moaned to get rules changed just for them to tip the rules in their favor so they can continue to race an inferior engine design. So where is the outrage over that?

Well, technically it is a level playing field. Both tire manufacturers have to operate under the exact same rules. Likewise for all bike manufacturers. It's purely Michelin's fault that they cannot make a competitive tire ahead of time.

If I were Rossi, I'd be pretty upset too though. Michelin just can't cut it, and it's hurting the performance of all their riders.

Yeah, the whole "vtwins get extra displacement" thing has irritated me for a while. Set a displacement and let anyone come to the table with what they've got. If they can't compete they should go back to the drawing board.

why put in the effort when you can just get the rules changed? development costs money and we all know ducati is barely scraping by...

Settle down old timer.
Lets see here. What happened to Capirossi? Was he not on a Ducati? Hmmm hes pretty decent rider. Top 5 ? could have taken the duc to victory? I don't think so, Of course now were back down that very familiar road of "what if". This road really does not go any place.

You are correct sir. I have never liked how the rules have been skewed in their favor in WSBK, but in GP it's all equal as far as rules and bikes are concerned.
I've shown plenty of outrage over the displacement advantage giv
