Poor Stoner. Poor Ducati.
Why do they suck so bad compared to Yamaha?

Everyone else caught up. The GP08 may not have been a step in the right direction either. Michelin has obviously adjusted as well. It's early days too.

No doubt, not even 1 race win behind in 4 races and their finished? Marco was 2 seconds off last years qualifying time, you blame that on Ducati because the rider sucks?

Naw, im mostly just poking fun. I like seeing Casey turn into a Pedrosabot when he he doesnt end up on the podium. He's a whining baby and I'm glad to see Michelin doing well, and yeah theres not really an excuse because Rossi was on the podium both of these last races. But look at Guintoli and Melandri.......... they cant seem to even get out of the last few positions.

I wonder how much crap Dorna is going to get for that camera box malfunction

Melandri has a history of not sucking, so I doubt that is it. It does seem like Stoner is the only person who can ride the damn thing though.

I would guess none. It's pretty hard to believe that any of the teams just let some video tech walkup to the bikes and tape a bunch of shit in there. I'd bet it is installed by a team technician or under the supervision of a team technician.

They have to bitch at dorna to give the impression of team solidarity, but I am guessing someone got a stern talking to within the Ducati camp.

Yamaha has obviously made some steps in the positive direction with 2 consecutive team podiums...3 for Lorenzo. It seems if Rossi can get his tire situation figured out it could get ugly for anyone but Yamaha. I think Stoner will be able to stretch out those legs of the duc here in a few weeks at china..we will see. Still really early in the season. Dani and REPSOL are doing well. I think Nicky is done though. Maybe get a new rider for that great machine. Ducati needs to do something though. Not as dominant on the straights this season thus far. Michelin looks to be the right tire right now...opinions?

I am glad to see there is some speed from other than just one Manufacturer. I do fear what Honda and Pedrobot might be capable of doing once they get the new valves. I don't think Hayden is done by any means. In fact I think he is probably doing a better job at riding a bike designed around an 8 year old boys frame than anyone else in the field could possibly do. Given his flat track back round which I believe helps him adapt to something obviously built for someone much smaller. I think his loyalty to Honda has bit him in the ass big time and he should have jumped ship along time ago.
Even last year"as I've stated earlier" there has been only one guy that seems to be able to do anything with the Ducati. If there was a huge Ducati advantage last year a lot of it had to do with the bike rider combination. The tracks that ducati likes are coming soon so we'll see how they do.

As much as I don't like Stoner/Ducati. You have to realize they have a target on their back. They are the bench marker to beat, and everyone is gunning for them.

What is this camera box malfunction that you speak of? Did the Ducati team put Ducati stickers on it?

Apparently the thing even got stuck behind the clutch lever and impeded his steering at one point.

Whatever Hillbilly lover boy.. But he is doing better this year than last. Last couple races hes been up there, just needs to stay on track and get those points. Hasn't he turned down the electronics, trying to take away some TC?

There's slow-mo cam footage of Stoner pulling the flopping camera box back into the fairing while he was coming out of the Parabolica. The velcro came loose. He still came back up to 6th from 11th.

Just don't count the Bridgestone's out yet. Qatar was like an exhibition race. Jerez and Estoril are Bridgestone's least favorable tracks.

I think we'll see Stoner and Rossi gunning for a win and the rookies of course.

And my prediction for Hayden? Ducati dumps Melandri and brings in Hayden. I'd love to see him on Duc. He'd be stomping on the field.

Yeah, after the race he was quoted as saying "I didn't know what it was and I was very afraid that the box was coming off and it was something important. So I was trying to put it back in, and it would get in between the steering and sometimes lock the clutch or lock the steering." I also remember reading somewhere that he said had he known what it was he would have ripped it out.

It's lonely at the top! It's going to be a long season for everybody else after Rossi gets his tires figured out.
