Saw it on the tee-vee. IIRC he got taken out in the practice session by another guy, don't remember who. I think it was a left and the guy next to him lowsided, he was on the outside and got caught up in it... correct me if I'm wrong

It's truly a sad day in road racing for the greatest 600cc motorcycle rider in the history of the class and probably any other class. This sucks for the AMA

I have always though of Miguel Duhamel as one of the best ever 600 SS rider-even though it's been a while since he has last won the title.

Again by what measure? His string of victories and championships? Nope, none of those. Hmm... what could it be then?
