How 'bout Bayliss throwing the first race like that? He pretended to run wide, not once but twice. Gotta prove his bike isn't a cheater, huh?

Notice how, in the second race, he beat Checa, the only guy within reach right now. I don't like how they just barely stay within the guidelines by winning every-other weekend. It was pretty obvious to me what Bayliss is doing-just beating the nearest guy. Next week, I bet he pulls the double win. With that bike, Ducati can chose where they want to finish.

It looks like the best, most even racing in the world to me. Often there were 4 different brands in the top 5, how unfair could that be? Haga is awesome, a double win with a double broken collar bone is amazing, but the fact that that is the first bone he has ever broken is almost unbelievable!?!

I just think it's interesting that Bayliss can win at will. When in danger of getting a weight penalty, he doesn't. The anouncers talk about rare mistakes, and he makes two or three in three laps....

I had the same thought's actually, and I was cussing Bayliss for being a dipshit. But he does kinda ride on the edge more than most. And makes a few mistakes as well, he just overcomes them normally.

OTOH he was'nt trying to highside at miller and score 0 points.........................Period............. ...........JOhn

I think one reason Haga did so well is that being injured, he had to back it off a notch and that is just what he needs to do. He is a little too aggressive and he was still drifting both ends onto the curb nearly every corner. Bayliss ran as hard as he had to in order to stay with Haga, but it put him on the limit. Obviously the Yamahas were very good there.

Glad to have some sort of discussion. Please explain, but first I will encourage you to look up the points standing in GP and notice the order and who is on top. Where is your Little Nickey?

Both WSBK races were very good. It was good to see Corser back in form and not falling back as the laps wore on. I wonder if he could have beat Haga if the weather stayed dry?

Yeah, saw that.

Haga is my favorite rider in the world. The fact that he congratulated the other podium finishers is truly classy.

Yup, it's that "moving target" of weight penalties for Ducati. If they dominate, they will be penalized and they know it. If the win but without dominating, they can maintain their advantage, and Bayliss knows he always has something on the rest of the field if he needs it.

But yes, other than the perennial cheaters in Ducati, it is some extremely close parity and racing. And at least Troy has the decency to make his sandbagging look good for the most part.

He should have won it in 2000 but got screwed on that BS banned substance fiasco.

Or last year when he lost by two points. I blame that on Biaggi taking him out at Misano.
