No he's not the better "racer".

But what asshole would expect him to be, considering the experience levels?

3 times down in 3 races however is totaly unnacceptable................For ANYONE with any experience.

No, if you actually listen to what I had to say, I was pretty reserved on saying who the best racer was. While at the same time noting and openly wondering if Stoner had matured as a "racer". And stating that IF Stoner won, it would be because of his mental game, not because he can simply ride fast.

There's no doubt he's the fastest guy on 2 wheels on the planet, on the Ducati anyway(damn fast without too, as he proved on the Honda)...........Just not the best racer yet. Pretty sad really, is how you all dismiss a 22 year old kid as a chump..............................

I seriously have never seen a stranger group of followers........

Rossi wins, you bitch.

Rossi loses, you bitch.

bitch bitch bitch

Rossi has it in the bag. And yall are still sore..................

I've never said Stoner Was the best, I've consitently said your little God was not. It appears that his team and bike are the best this season also I suspect the fix is in.

I thought you said the fishing this season was the best in years, but you're still trying to add to your catch here?

Stoner's bike is *still* the fastest thing on the grid, just not as much as last year, where he could just holeshot and check out. Now he has to fight for it, but he doesn't have the racecraft for it.

You wanna talk about choking, how about repeatedly crashing out of the lead off pole position? That's some serious choking right there.

To those of you whom I spoiled the race for I apologize, I did not read Mr Palmers post before posting- bad. I was caught up in the race and didn't realize you were not allowed to post while the race was on. Commenting on facts after they happened. I assumed everyone was watching like me on the speed channel at 8pm Sunday evening. I did not take into consideration that some of you were not able to see it at that time. Again I am truly sorry and it won't happen again. Thanks Bikenut....MrsD- now a part of the Bad girls club

IMHO Indy will favor the Duc with the long straight. Nicky was saying they'll likely hit 210. Too bad he's falling off or the points maybe close.
The head Duc guy said Hayden would be good support for Stoner...

Pedrosa's running Bridgestones at Indy

It's getting interesting, a rumored 5th Duc and 3rd Kawi next year
and a 2nd tier Honda looking at Spies

You can post while the race is on. Look for or create a thread with "spoiler" in the title, all good

I could be considered slightly out of line for posting after the race aired live that I found it a little boring but with no specific information. And I know people want to get upset that you posted something after it was aired on Speed network. But seriously any idiot that is checking MotoGP threads after a race has aired TWICE deserves what they get. Don't let the crybabies make you feel bad. Would it have been better to put "Spoiler" in the thread.. sure, and I am going to make sure I do so here from now on. Of course if I miss a race the results are plastered on every newspaper and reported on every news channel, not to mention everyone wanting to talk about it. So I watch the race live because I *CARE* about the results. To the casual fan that wants some entertainment and approaches it like the next episode of Lost.. spoiling the end can be rude.

My thoughts on the race: YAAAAWWWNNNN......

I want action at the front! Sure, I'm happy Rossi got the points and furthered his lead, I'm just not happy how it went down. I'd rather see Rossi (who is my favorite) finish off the podium in a nail biting race than watch him win 3 seconds ahead of everyone. Just not interested in watching a rider do laps to get points. I hope something happens.

PS - Looks like Dani is aclimating to the Bridgestones quite well.

Well, if this thread had not've been started on 07-17-2008 I would have been more cautious. And if this thread was about this week's race I wouldn't even have opened it. Or if it was a thread about MotoGP 'chokes' or any other description that had to do with a current race, I again wouldn't have opened it.

But a thread about which racer is the best and that has been going on for over a month and a half? Not so much...

Anyway, it's in the past now. I've yet to see the race but probably will today. But by the sounds of it, probably won't be much fun anyway now that I know what happens...

last two races, just sayin
Misano
3. Toni ELIAS (Ducati), Bridgestone, -11.705, 16pts
15. Casey STONER (Ducati), Bridgestone, -21 laps, DNF, crash, 0 pts

Brno
2. Toni ELIAS (Ducati), Bridgestone, -15.004 seconds 20pts
17. Casey STONER (Ducati), Bridgestone, -16 laps, DNF, crash, 0 pts

But really I'm bummed that Casey has fallen the last two, possibly making the rest of the season boring unless the TV shows the field battles. At least there's 125/250

Here's a pretty cool graphic of the races for you GP nerds

Hi Jason.

Jason seems to make some sort of living off detracting from Rossi's supreme eminence. He has chosen a career that will never come to an end.

This is truth!

(Might not be very likely that something will happen, but it's definitely possible.)
