Edwards eager to start the season

It takes a lot more than minor inconveniences to dampen the spirits of Colin Edwards, as evidenced by the American’s desire to start the season as soon as possible despite problems with chattering and daily rainfall in Sepang.

The Yamaha rider is satisfied with the work undertaken at the Malaysian circuit, in particular with the performance of the new M1. He considers the latest model to be a significant improvement on its predecessor.

“It’s been a good test. We´ve learnt a lot about the bike and have been able to try new things which seem to have worked. We are coming along well and the prototype is better than when we started, which is the most important thing”
