Melandri happy heading to Europe

The upcoming Official Tests in Catalunya and Jerez are eagerly awaited by all riders as preseason draws to a close. Italian rider Marco Melandri is no exception. The overall fastest at the Sepang Test, he spoke with motogp.com about the events of last week and the focus of his preseason.

Melandri admits that his third day at Sepang “wasn’t wonderful”, but that it was positive in terms of working on settings and tyres if not on the time sheets. His first day time of 2’01.66 was the fastest clocked at the rain-hit Malaysian circuit, and in the exclusive interview Melandri explains more about the three days of testing and the coming weeks.
