My friend & Team founder Bill Callister of Kaka Racing has placed himself nicely in practice at the Manx Grand Prix on The Isle of Man! This is awesome, especially since killing the engine during the Ulster Grand Prix last week. | Superbiker Joined: Dec 2006 From: I hail from the wee town of Kirkland I Ride: for KaKaRacing | Rider Dies at the Manx Grand Prix Source:http://www.manxradio.com/readNEwsItem.aspx?id=24748 One of the Manx Grand Prix’s most popular riders had died following a crash in the Manx Grand Prix Senior Classic race yesterday (Monday). 67-year old engineer John Goodall from Pembrokeshire, was airlifted to Noble's Hospital after suffering serious chest and rib injuries after coming off his Matchless classic motorcycle at Ballacraine on the opening lap. Earlier this year, Mr Goodall was awarded the Spirit of the Manx award, having competed in every classic race at the MGP since he won the inaugural Senior Classic 25 years ago and had received 40 Manx Grand Prix replicas during his career. One man who got to know him well was former Tourism Minister, David Cretney (audio clip) Race organisers the Manx Motor Cycle Club wishes to express its sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Mr Goodall.
