I Ride: fast, except on the road.
It is not unusual for a racing series to allow smaller manufacturers to enter a bike of a smaller production number than those of the big guys. The AMA needs more diversity right now, so I think it's a good thing. Hopefully it will help EBR grow and build a bike more of us can afford, which will allow them to sell more too!

EBR just announced their major sponsor, Hero Motors of India!? Wonder if this means Hero bikes over here and/or little cheap EBRs?

Eslick's the best!! and you riders that don't care for him should watch a little Flat Track and find out what American motocycle racing used to be. Loose sometimes is a useful tool if you know what to do with it. I would suggest watching "On any Sunday" if you haven't. By the way, Our top MotoGP riders are ex-flat trackers. It's too bad that a lot of you didn't get to go out to Sidewinders race track on a Friday night just south of Sunnyside rd. in Clackamas, there you would have seen alot of Eslick and Hayden style ridin' And Herrin is a whiner. GO EBR!!

I could be wrong but this to me seems barely any different from what the rockstar suzukis run now. Now if the threw a variation of the motor from the gsvr then thats a different situation.

It's not radically different, and it wouldn't make a big difference in superbike. It would, however, make a big difference in superstock. The cams are one thing that would be a big difference. In SS you have to run stock cams, and in AMA SB you have to run cams with the stock lift, although duration can be longer. Yoshimura homologating cams they want to run could mean a noticeable hp bump. Different velocity stacks are another thing that could mean a few more hp in a SS build, although they would be able to run whatever they want in SB.

Little things like that have a way of adding up.
