And probably Stoner for the championship again? |

![]() ![]() | Hard to bet against Stoner, but it should be closer this year. I think Spies will be tough over the full race distance, as he has show he can manage his tires well (thanks, Matt!). I also think the Duc will be closer, but not sure about the top of the podium? It will be very interesting to see the CRTs, how close they can get, and whether they get more "help"? |

Stoner is going to have nearly a perfect season, with only Pedrosa able to occassionally beat him. Spies and George will tie for third. The rest do not matter, all losers. |

Honda takes 1st and 2nd. Jl 3rd Rossi 4th Edwards gets one podium and the only CRT bike to do it all year. My predictions. |

I doubt anyone else has the pace to stay with him for the entire season, barring injury. Casey second, Dani third. Then Spies/Dovi/Rossi in no particular order. |

| Streetfighter ![]() | ![]() ![]() I see the top 4-5 flashing away at the start of a race and then cruising for the win if fuel becomes a issue. The CRT's might be competitive somewhere in the future, but the riders will not be in the same league...., ever. Dorna's Carmelo Ezpeleta wants them to be competitive and will work against the factories wishes to make this happen, but there wont be enough fast racers to compete against the Factory guys. I doubt a CRT bike will ever see the top of the podium and rarely be in the top 5. As far as Ben....,sigh....,I really want to see him win it all, but not til the Yamaha in the equal of the Honda and then.....,just maybe. |

Right now with computers being such a big force in racing the team with the best army of laptop junkies is at a pretty big advantage. Force everyone to run an affordable ($10,000??) spec Magnetti Marelli ECU with limited TC and data acquisition features, then you will put the CRT, satellite, and factory teams a lot closer together. It would also save money on engine development, especially since they are 1000cc bikes. You can only use the power you can put down to the ground. Without the super advanced electronics the difference between a 230 hp bike and a 250 hp bike will be pretty much nill. |
