    | Silverstone GP spoiler Spies only .03 off Stoner on first day. Rossi was quicvkest in the wet fiorst session, but dropped to 11 in the dry. While Nicky was 4th quick in the dry and 2nd in the wet session. Hopefully Ben can ditch his string of bad luck this weekend. Seems like it was a lousy week for me to tell Comcast to F*&%off?!  1. Must be all the British hype from the commentators getting to me. Seems the Ducs found their issues this season....just make it rain and the bike performs. lol Comcast...F*&# them, I switched to Qwest 6 months ago and haven't had a single issue since. Comcast can suck it! |

In the back of my head I am very skeptical though... he can certainly put some good laps in but he just doesn't seem to be able to keep in together for the full length of a race. I really hope he's going to turn this around. Certainly a different than norm order of times there. Surprised to see Lorenzo 7th fastest... I'm sure that will not be the case on race day. |

A lot of contracts will start being decided by results starting this weekend. Lorenzo already signed on w/ Yamaha for 2 more years (after turning down HRC). Ben needs to string together some good results. The rookie rule will likely go away, so Marquez will probably take a seat on a factory Honda now. Rossi said he'll wait until after Laguna or even Brno to make his decision on next year. It's hard to imagine what kind of options he would even have. The marketing pull alone that he would bring could mean he'll get a factory seat... but he's kind of burned bridges at Honda and Yamaha. Hayden will probably stay with Ducati... which, honestly I'm sad about. I want to see Hayden on a satellite Honda or Yamaha..... OR in WSB. Actually, I want to see Spies, Hayden, Rossi and Edwards all back in WSB. |

Right now, Marquez is a shoe-in. He has Repsol as a personal sponsor. Dorna has already said the rookie rule may get repealed next year (as if HRC didn't already have a dozen ways around it). HRC might be getting a little tired of Pedro, and even if they sign him for another year, his time is limited, and they need a Spaniard to keep Repsol. Even if they do drop him, I don't know that Rossi would be their first choice. Maybe Cal would be. | |

Pedrobot - HRC Marquez - HRC Spies - Factory Yamaha (1yr contract if his perf continues like it has, otherwise if he gets his shit together he might get a 2yr) Hayden - Ducati Rossi - Gresini Honda (w/ a full Factory bike) |

The only thing is, HRC may want Rossi to go out on thier bike (he is giving it 2 more years) and he always brings big sponsor dollars which is icing. Most likely Gresini, I actually think Sicc's old team will sway Rossi a bit too. Depending on the rest of the year, Cal could take Spies place. Bautista to CRT or Pramac Dovi on a factory Duc Bradl to Tech3 | |
