Stoner on pole, not too surprising, over Lorenzo and Pedrosa. But The fastest CRT, DePuniet, outqualified Hayden! And Rossi was only .02" faster than Hayden, just in front of Randy. More interesting is both Ducatis were slower than Checa qualified on the old 1198 in WSBK earlier this year!? And he wasn't the fastest Superbike, Sykes' ZX10 was more than 3 tenths ahead of both Duc GP bikes on the same track!?!

Pete, the whole season the Ducs have not been able to use softs for QP. The actual race Rossi always does better but still averages about a sec a lap off the front runner.

RDP has been looking good, 2014 when spec ecu changes are in effect, I wouldn't be surprised to see them running with the front at times.

Did you watch qualifying? Stoner will win or dnf, he is on another level at PI.
