About 90% of the miles on his Duck are form doing rides like this, he ships his bike out somewhere and goes for a long ride. He's riden about everywhere in the U.S. besides the NW and Northern CA.I need to set-up The epic NW ride! Neither one of mind a little bit of weather. I'd like a good mix of sight-seeing and fun roads with no traffic. Most importantly I'd like to stay away from the masses. If you were in my shoes, what would you do? ![]() |

The Kootenays have some of the most popular motorcycle roads in Canada and are breathtakingly beautiful. There are several motorcycle campgrounds, hotsprings, well maintained roads, and not much traffic. And it feels like a real trip abroad because you get to use your passport! I got a taste of it this year and really think it is one of the least appreciated opportunities we have in the NW. North Cascades, Idaho, Canada. 1100 miles. 3 days. |

Especially if the person is comming all the way from the east coast where they have never seen a real tree. lol |
