I like Fantastic burger up on the hill in Tacoma. I think they changed the name. I live right down the street from the Little Holland in Tacoma and they have great burgers but not really any seating.

I Ride: faster than I should, but slower than you.
I live the same distance from a Red Mill and a Dick's, so it depends on the day. They're both kick ass for different reasons.

The best mid ride burger I've had, though, is one from Scale Burgers in Elbe.

If you're ever in Hood River - don't miss the burgers upstairs at the Big Horse Grill. Definitely hitting that up at Sportbike NW this year.

When I'm in Seattle I like Kidd Valley.
When I'm in Mount Vernon it's CHUCK WAGON, BABY!!! Gimmie a Big Sue and stand back!
Dude I forgot about the Chuckwagon that place is just freakin cool anyways. It is decorated with old whiskey bottles of western scenes and trains go around on tracks hanging from the ceiling.

Folks have already mentioned Frisko Freeze, so I'll add in a few other lesser known burger places:

All Star Burgers - just up Center Street from Tacoma Motorsports and an unbeatable bargain! $5 for the BBQ western burger combo!

Pick Quick - right next to Nissan of Fife. Quite possibly the best burgers around, in my opinion.

12th Street Diner - on 12th St in Tacoma oddly enough. I've only eaten there once, but it was pretty good. The dude from the News Tribune liked them a lot.

Nope. Street rides are for those too smart to put all their time/effort/money into racing. I don't fall into that category. Besides, 1 ticket worth of lawyer fees is the same price as a set of race tires.

That's "Big City" food for residents of Methlehem.

Tiernan, how in the hell did you survive the betting pool that Mike had charting your demise?

Yep, married....already longer than you were.

Drove the Mustang down 101 for our honeymoon. Got home, spent three days recovering from shitty Ford ergonomics and then bought my bike. Have driven the car maybe once since then.

Bike is almost as big as the wife's Mini. Prettier too.

Not Washington, but if you want an awesome burger, get one at the Elk River Cafe in Elk River, ID.

In WA: Eleanor's in Uniontown. I haven't ate there for a couple years but they used to have great burgers.

I always get the Petite Bonzai Burger...

For those of you who don't know, you can get ANY RR burger as a "petite"

It is a buck cheaper, and a full size bonzai burger usually makes me feel bad for the rest of the night lol

besides, if you are still hungry you have bottomless fries (AND GET THE HONEY MUSTARD )

This may sound crazy, but if you go to the cafeteria at Cascade Valley Hospital, they actually turn out a very good hamburger.

Yeah, what's great is that Herfy's is still around, even in neutered form. Back in the 70's/early 80's Herfy's was a decent PNW chain through Washington and Oregon. We probably went there as much as we went to Burgerville. I was sad to see they tore down the Burgerville on Market St. in Salem. As a kid that was the one we always stopped at on our way to Portland on our way from Eugene.

Are you sure they qualify? I consider hamburgers made from cow, not barn rat.....

I just remembered another place where I've had a really good burger. I'm not sure exactly where, but somewhere along I-5 heading south tward Portland, I think somewhere near Hanford, there's this little place called Whimpy's. We usually stop there on our way to Oregon, and they have great food.

The Thicket in Ukiah, OR. It's a great ride to get there, and the Thicket burger is awesome, especially if you have them throw an egg on it. Mmmmm
Take I-84 to Hwy 244, stop in Ukiah for a burger and take 395 back. It's a nice loop to make.

This isn't an endorsement - or won't be until at least next weekend. But in the new Mill Creek plaza, almost across the street from L.A. Fitness is a new burger place, http://www.blazingonion.com/

You can smell the charbroiling from a 1/4 mile away. We were taking a walk after dinner at the new Mongolian BBQ place and smelled it before we saw it.

Side note: Fidelis Bakery right next to it has fantastic desserts.
