They're both kick ass for different reasons. The best mid ride burger I've had, though, is one from Scale Burgers in Elbe. If you're ever in Hood River - don't miss the burgers upstairs at the Big Horse Grill. Definitely hitting that up at Sportbike NW this year. Last edited by Runout; 03-22-2007 at 10:43 PM.. |

Folks have already mentioned Frisko Freeze, so I'll add in a few other lesser known burger places: All Star Burgers - just up Center Street from Tacoma Motorsports and an unbeatable bargain! $5 for the BBQ western burger combo! Pick Quick - right next to Nissan of Fife. Quite possibly the best burgers around, in my opinion. 12th Street Diner - on 12th St in Tacoma oddly enough. I've only eaten there once, but it was pretty good. The dude from the News Tribune liked them a lot. Jimmie |

I don't fall into that category. Besides, 1 ticket worth of lawyer fees is the same price as a set of race tires. |

Yep, married....already longer than you were. ![]() Drove the Mustang down 101 for our honeymoon. Got home, spent three days recovering from shitty Ford ergonomics and then bought my bike. Have driven the car maybe once since then. Bike is almost as big as the wife's Mini. Prettier too.

Are you sure they qualify? I consider hamburgers made from cow, not barn rat.....

| Superbiker | I just remembered another place where I've had a really good burger. I'm not sure exactly where, but somewhere along I-5 heading south tward Portland, I think somewhere near Hanford, there's this little place called Whimpy's. We usually stop there on our way to Oregon, and they have great food. |

It's a nice loop to make. http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&om=1...78299,2.515869 Last edited by jim97801; 03-24-2007 at 08:33 AM.. |

But in the new Mill Creek plaza, almost across the street from L.A. Fitness is a new burger place, http://www.blazingonion.com/ You can smell the charbroiling from a 1/4 mile away. We were taking a walk after dinner at the new Mongolian BBQ place and smelled it before we saw it. Side note: Fidelis Bakery right next to it has fantastic desserts. |
