Canyon Rd. - Between Eburg and Yakima
Me and my buddy went for a little 400mi jaunt over the mountians yesterday and stumbled upon a little piece of motorcycling nirvana.

Canyon Rd. between Elensburg and Yakima - Its the old hwy between the two cities before 84, and forgive me for not having pictures (left the camera on all night in the backpack!) but the colors at this time of year are amazing. And the road is perfectly paved, long sweeper after long sweeper, with sightlines for a mile in most places. A old timer on a well used Guzzi told us afterwords at our stop that the place is usually well patrolled but i saw no evidence of this. Even if you did the speed limit this road would be something to remember just for the scenery.

Just had to share.

That highway has been one of my favorites for many, many years.

Be aware though that the LEO's LOVE that road. I have been slowed and stopped a few times in my past.

At any speed though, the views are well worth the trip!

Next time hit Hwy 10 from Cle Elum to Ellensburg then on to Canyon Rd. You ride along the river almost the whole way. It's great.
