Btw, I doubt I'll be there. Between my 6 year-old's soccer practice and Kindergarten program thing tonight at 7, it would be a miracle. Hoping Varment and Speedholes and Jammer can at least show, rounding out a pretty good group and mix, with what looks to be our current roll call today..

You need to fix that camera,Caleb,I look fat in those pics...

Being as you're the only one on here to see the Sabre up close,take a look at the parts bike I'll be getting later this week,I'm going to swap the painted parts,(front fender,tank,side covers,tailpiece)and possibly the seat,the hwy pegs will go on the SafetyWing.The good side is I'll have enough parts left to make a running bike,not sure if I'll put the other fairing on it or not...

The bad side is the seller says the tranny will not shift into either 5th or 6th...I don't think I'm up to fixing it,either in expertise or motivation...

But my Sabre will look MUCH nicer when it's all done,I can always sell what's left to CyclePsycho in Eugene...

Nighthawker,the SafetyWing is in my avatar,I do not plan on changing anything on it...Well,maybe adding some factory saddlebags if I can get them color-matched...The parts are for my Sabre,I think Caleb posted pics earlier in this thread of the Sabre,it is kinda rat-bike looking...

Nighthawker,I'm going to be out and around on the Wing today for a while.I'll be at the paint store next to Absolute MotoSports on Stephens around 3 or so.I need to get a paint number so I can have some saddlebags painted to match...If you're going to be anywhere nearby we can meet for a beer at McMenamins,or Little Brothers Pub by Calebs workplace...

I'll be at sonic this thursday, but Saturday I'll be going to Portland to pick up that mascot finally.... Leave time is 4:30am Saturday morning, route is over through coquille, up 101 and over to Clatskanie.... Anyone wants to go?? (mostly sarcastic as who wants to get up at 4 on a saturday...) of course all are welcome...

Hey Jason, are you talking about Saturday 13, June? I'm off work and as far as I know the wife hasn't given me any plans yet. Are you riding? If so, why don't I ride down a ways and meet you somewhere. There might even be someone else who would want to join in. It sounds like your route is going to take you about 1/4 mile from my house between Gearhart and Warrenton. You could stop for a few minutes if you have time. I'm guessing you must have a tight schedule if you're crazy enough to leave at 0430. I might even go as far as Clatskanie with you. I could at least show you some of the fun routes up here. I haven't looked at the weather that far ahead, but it sounds like a fun trip. What mascot are you getting?

Its the Kawiforums Mr. Pihb thats coming from Seattle, The meet up is in clatskanie at 10am, from there we are going to ride on that road that heads south from clatskanie, 47?? we will probably stop and get a bite to eat...after that I'm not sure what we're doing... we are leaving so early so we can get up 101 as quickly as possible, not getting caught behind slow movers and stuff... Would be cool if you and a couple others could meet us along the way... pm me your number so I can text as we get closer and give us a place to meet you.... I know seaside and warrenton a little bit from being there at camp Rilea, Fred Meyer gas station comes to mind, its right there on 101....

Hwy 47 from Clatskanie to Mist is 11 miles of really twisty road with several semi-blind corners. Watch out for log trucks and have fun!
