EDIT: As of 11-03-09, we've moved the bike night location from Abby's on Stephens to Sonic until somebody opens up something acceptable!

Roseburg Bike Night is Thursdays at 6pm at Sonic on Stephens.

Our first one's tomorrow May 14th at 6pm at Sonic! See ya there!

Well, figuratively speaking of course...

Not sure who will be around Saturday for the Saturday bike night-- most of us are heading to Florence for Rhododendron Days.

But the idea is two bike nights per week:

-Thursday @ 6PM
-Saturday @ 2PM

That way, all have a chance to make one.

They'll be at Sonic by default-- somewhere else if we decide.

We'll post up here if that's the case.

5pm is early for me as my shift usually ends at 5, but i will try to make these ...or at least be fashionably late. until end of spring term tho i might be just pulling through; my wife has classes on thursdays. good times, i will do what i can to be there.

they were gestering at us and everything.

That red one in back is mine. Nothin too fancy; it gets me around, you know. It was kinda hard to find room for all the bikes, eh?

There were a few strange visitors, here's that one guy who always shows up.

Couple nice ones here. Weren't you guys arranging to swap? Pretty sure that's what I heard.

This is gonna be tough I really want to meet some of the riders around here I close my store at 6 so i might make the thurs meet I work sat so that wont work got monday and tues off this week but I'm waiting for a new rear sprocket they got me the wrong one so I still cant ride

I may just change the chain and try riding anyway I dont know yet

It's Saturday and you guys are all probably in Florence. I'm working in Longview, WA today, but I have next weekend (Memorial Day) off, so I'm hoping to come to Roseburg to visit my mom. I'll be bringing 3 of my kids and my wife, so we can't all get there on the R1, but I'm going to try to set my utility trailer up this week to haul the R1 behind the minivan. I should be able to come on Saturday at 2:00, and hopefully be on the bike. Hope to meet with you guys. John

I'm going to try and get there.

Should have come to Automania! They had soooo many ducatis, a couple BMW's, the MV Agusta and then some other stuff. Lots of fun! I wish there was some way to keep my marriage and house if I could have one of the Ducs.

Got sort of close to the peg on the way home. Dragging one with just me is annoying. Doing it with a passenger is bad. I don't think she'd ride with many any more if I did that.

That sounds good. I'll keep you informed on this thread. I'm planning to come down with or without the R1, but it would be a lot more fun to have the bike there.

I see you're from Sutherlin. That's where I'll be staying with my mom. She lives east of town near Cooper Creek Reservoir. My dad lives in Roseburg near Stewart Park.

I just didn't want to make the trip up, rain or shine, only to find no body there. You're right though, should have just kept quiet and shown up. Now, if no body shows, I'll indeed know that it is personal, or against Harleys.

Btw - the "till the rain" comment means that I ride in the rain and she won't be all shiny anymore.

1. Already have one for bike night
2. Have a standing event for Thursday and Saturday - meaning no need to post up, just show up

Oh yeah! I'm ok. Please, that's why all the goofy emoticons. Meaning, I know I made a mistake and am trying to learn my way around the board here. I've been doing mailing lists for years, but am new to this sort of venue.

So, I'll be there 6 ish, and then, possibly, you'll meet me in person and understand my sort of "left-field" sense of humor. Oooh, and maybe it won't rain, so my shiny, silver HD will sort of stay that way and not collect all that nasty road grime.
