ya know.. there was another thread sort of like this tag thing.. that one was like a treasure hunt deal.. for instance i say the thing to find is a dump truck. i take a pic with a dump truck and then the next (tag) pic would be with a dump truck and a new target ie. a bridge, or a stop sign, or a red truck, or... etc... maybe we could make this pic thread a bit more useful/fun and get it moving.... this just drags as it is... maybe its just me???

Seriously,I saw a thread they're running on one of the other PNW forums,and the way it works is,you find a Tag photo,say,of a garbage truck.Then you post your pic,and you decide the next pic.So you say it must be an Oregon state flag.Then Appalachia-Man gets a pic of an Oregon flag,and he says the next pic must be of a dead deer by the roadside,or whatever.It seems that thread is moving a little faster because the person taking the next pic doesn't have to be as familiar with the area as in this thread...Just an idea...

HINT: Most people go there and LEAVE unwanted items, or bags of items. You'll be going there to RETRIEVE that which is rare and sought-after.

Not directed at you,Ray,or anyone else for that matter,it's just that this thread has pretty much died,due to a lot of people that aren't that familiar with the area,and a lot of people that just aren't interested enough to actually go take a photo...Nothing bad intended in any particular direction,but I do think I'm going to start another thread that does the "Tag" thing a bit differently,as discussed above....

If the game isn't moving, it's really up to the last photo tag poster to do something about it, more hints or sometimes people even flat give away the location (hint, ahem, hint!). I dunno what really makes it move - I guess you have to have enough peeps interested in playing, that's all. Given that Roseburg area has a smaller riding group, compared to others, might have something to do with it. But I think it's still doable - it might just move at your own pace.

Next time I visit Roseburg, you can pretty much count on me sticking my nose in here.

Is someone MIA here?
