since my last thread got locked..
Anyways, i just wanted to say, I got my old CX500 back TEMPORARILY..

but i will still be looking for a bike.
To make payments on (BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO TAKE OUT A LOAN)

that guy was a jerk, he doesn't know me.

so.... if you guys know of, or see any good deals with somebody that will be willing to work a deal out with me, because i need the transportation now, That is the only reason why i'm not just saving it up and waiting.. let me know.

thank you.

That jerk guy had some very good points. Don't dismiss them. He exaggerated and made generalizations, but they were quite solid in terms of wisdom and how others might observe someone in your shoes. So be still and don't fire back so quickly. It doesn't become you.

K. I'll try this again. Roseburg folks: coming to the defense of one of our own is great. I want to insert my .02 here though:

Ignore irritation. No need to fight back. Everyone's welcome in all sub-forums on PNWRiders. Over half of the action on this forum (and forums everywhere) is people stirring up shit to varying degrees. It's fun. For some, a little more fun than for others. LOL.

I'm constantly irritated with the actions and statements (or grammar and punctuation errors, LOL) of others, on here and in "real life." Sometimes I poke fun. Mostly, I keep quiet.

So let the shit fly; just ignore it if you don't like it. Try and find the wisdom in what is being said-- in this case I'm partial to what starkmojo is saying since the object of his "affection" is my son in real life. Of course, he's a bit persistent with his opinions-- but oh well. It's good practice for an 18 year old to hold his tongue-- which is the part I'm focusing on here right?

But I digress. To bad erickb isn't here to join in the fun. Erickb, where are you? <3

Elijah's a good kid, he needs a break.

Elijah,I have to second McNastys question, why don't you try to buy your old bike back?

BTW,the Sabre manual was too big to attach to an email,so I put it on a disc,I'll have it at Sonic tomorrow...Did you like the band? You had pretty good seats...

i was 18 and looking for a ride once and sought to have somebody carry a contract..who really wants to pay interest???

Don't forget there is an ignore function on the forum. I personally have a hard time NOT responding to shit if I see it, so I use the ignore function.

lol... this is an interesting thread.. I'm over it all now. Like i just said in a message, he did indeed have some good points, but the generalizations irritated me at the time.

whatev.. its nice to have the ol' 500 back. Needs some work though, and like I said.. i'm still looking for another bike.

oh yeah, i'm not buying it back because i think my dads boss is gonna end up with it, and he's going to turn it into a cafe' racer type...

"its for the lose" is that some new hip term I am unaware of?

Ok Kid, for you all say everything all nice and sweet, because I wouldn't want to hurt your feelings... what are you, a biker or some new age, passive aggressive Drainbow? seriously, get a grip, HTFU.

That exactly the thing about younger folks that I worry about...Thats my last word on the generation gap- well in this thread anyway
