I though the turn out was pretty slow but I think it will grow. Things always move slowly in this town.

I had a blast in the bike rodeo. I wish I could have competed in the whole thing but I had to man my booth.

I don't understand why so many people are afraid to ride in the biker games? They re s much fun! The year before we raced our harleys in the dirt barrel racing. It was a blast.

I think if they do the event next year its gonna rock.

Nope. I sold it. I'm riding a 75 ironhead and working on my triumph. I miss that bike. Gonna look for a 99 to 03 evo sporty and do it all over again.

I usually go and embarrass myself in the games. This year, had to stay and do the booth. Maybe next year someone else will run the booth with me. Plus, I know there was a suggestion to Charlie to do games both Sat. and Sun. with a finals Sunday afternoon. That would give two people a chance to compete and work booths if they have to. Only hope they don't both make finals.

My daughter did very well riding with Morris Pearson, yeah, the funeral home guy. The guy can ride, and Stace loved the big back seat and how the bike didn't react to any of her wiggling. She doesn't have that much freedom on the back of the sporty.

Spoke to Charley this am and he said to be sure and say a BIG THANK YOU to all that attended the event. They had a 1000 people attend during the 3 days and made enough money to pay the bills and send some to the wounded warrior fund which is good news. He's already talking about next year and what to change. Lower gate price, swap meet, 2 poker runs, more 50/50 sales, and the vixen girls want do jello wrestling. I have asked to join the board and hopefully can get a few ideas I had and people talked to me about. Here's hoping for a bigger and better event next year.
