I work at the casino and had heard some scuttlebutt, I always like to be sure before I pass info. on to other's. Looks like a go since the flyers were out and about at various events this weekend. It's a 3or4 day motorcycle event taking place in the Roseburg area Sept. 2,3,4 & 5 2011 ( did not see any events for the 5th though ). Fri. 9/2/11 DC fairgrounds opens up at 8am vendors, bike games etc. Band at 6pm. Sat. 9/3/11 two bands at fairgorunds, VINTAGE BIKE SHOW, not sure timing of events etc. but appears to be all day. Sun. 9/4/11 parade, river/mtn. cruise to casino, music at casino, etc. Mon. 9/5/11 again nothing listed so I think a typo of that day. Cost is $12.00 per day for events or $32.00 for all 3 days. Proceeds go to the wounded warriors foundation. Looks like a good chance for our area to host a great event with a worthy cause.Maybe if were lucky it will become an annual event. pd |

Plus, there's a really good chance that it will become an annual thing. I've been looking forward to this one, but like Rick have been holding off on saying anything till it looked for real. I'm starting to get a complex over posting stuff and getting the info wrong or having it change. Thanks for posting this Rick. |

LOL They do not have a website so I am going to try and scan the flyer and post it.Will also try and bring some flyer's to bike night's. That way Rick can pass them around. They have some articles coming out in thunderpress & also quick throttle. Plus also a biker build off at the event itself. Hell hope I am healed up enough to ride to it, if not power chair with flames and big ass apehangers for the sidearms. Doc says 2 more month's of the boot for me will see. Need to start pushing myself more with my exercises, but not enough to f*** it up. Charley asks we keep putting the word out so this becomes a major annual event. pd |
