Mine wasn't as bad as yours. You had an open fracture, mine just has a crack in it seen on the xray, but it remained alighned, so I don't need surgery.

They put in 18 pins and some flat bar plus all the skin was wore down too. Have not been given any specific date line yet and not pushed asking either. Figure I would just get more depressed if they gave me a date. Only been 2 weeks and already sick of it plus being bored to death. Went back to work Thursday since I just sit at a desk has not been to bad and at least out of the house. |

I've had some pretty close calls, and not all of them involving cagers. Is it the moon or something? Are the planets aligned? Heal up quickly. Glad you could go back to work Dave. Being housebound is no fun. Ben, are you able to get out and about or are you stuck? |

It seemed like the cosmic forces were against me. I had ordered a tire from JP Cycles and it got backordered, I got no answers when I called them, a month later I ordered a different size tire, so when I crashed I was on a bald front tire, numerious other things happened that night that lead to my wreck. Seriously, I think the grim reaper had it out for me. Last edited by HarleyGuy; 06-17-2011 at 11:23 AM..

I'm going to be gone most of this next week, but after that... Didn't even think about it earlier, sorry. |

| Railer Joined: Nov 2008 From: Myrtle Creek, OR I Ride: A big silver one | I have a rule for this summer that I want everyone to pay attention to. NO FUNERALS FOR FOLKS THAT I KNOW, ok? Take it easy and keep the rubber side down. Side note - remember new prescription drugs can impair rider readiness. Yesterday, not a good ride for either of us. |
