Subject: Salute to our Heroes-Healing Field of Flags Project 7/24/11 through 7/31/11

For the Salute to our Heroes-Healing Field of Flags project:

We will be putting the Flags up in the field off Page Road next to the Douglas County Sheriff's Maintenance Building in Sutherlin next to I-5.

You can reach the Field via Comstock then Page Road from Exit 135 going north or from Exit 136 to Central then Page Road going South.

Sunday 7/24/11 @ 11:00 a.m. we will be laying the grid for the Flags and start placing the rebar stakes

Monday 7/25/11 @ 3:30 p.m. we will be placing the rebar stakes

Tuesday 7/26/11 @ 3:30 p.m. we will be putting up the Flags

Each day from Tuesday 7/26/11 after the Flags have been raised we will need 24/7 guards to watch over the Flags and to

maintain the generators for the lights. We will need a minimum of 2 people in 4 hour shifts. We will have 2 awnings with tables and chairs for the comfort of the guards. The job will entail watching over the flags, making sure no one damages or takes them, keeping them upright straightening any that might lean and the ones during the night shift-keeping the generators running (putting gas in them).

We can use help from men, women, and young people! We have a job for everyone!!

Those in school groups will be given credit for their Community Service.

Please contact me for scheduling security shifts.

Thank you so much for any/all the help you can give.

This is a very big job and we need a lot of help.
