Tires
Anyone have a 160 rear for sale?

Or recommendations for a cheap/good rear sport tire? I am trying to get Darla back on the road on the cheap.

I just took a pair of Avon Storms off my ST,they're good for a few more miles, what sizes are you needing?

Front is 110/80ZR18 and rear is 160/70ZR17...

I think the stocker is a 160/60ZR17, but the 160/70 should fit, right?

I have a front. What are you askin?

70 is a taller tire than the 60,are you sure you'll have enough clearance?

As far as price, this tire is still 60% or better, how about $25??

Let me check the SV boards to see about fit. If it will, you have yourself a deal.

Oh Snap... I'll pay for it since the only reason you need a rear is because you gave it to me....

FYI, Shinko's are only $160 delivered to your door....

Oh goodie. Another tire tied to the back of a bike. I guess SH isn't riding though. Oh well this was mine last weekend.

We're in a temporary space while they are re-building our usual place one door down. A tree landed on the back of the building during that big storm this spring. Anyway, that puts the door closer to the bench out front.

Hey, I guess the "Rescue Shop" is open on Friday nights now. The neighborhood is such that having a sane or safe place to go during all the drama, is needed. Anyone looking for some fellowship and sanity is welcome. I can find out the times that Ron has the door open. If you are ever in the area and see the door open and the lights on, you're always welcome to stop in. There's usually coffee, soda pop and water available.

The shop is in Winston by the Thai place near the post office.

Speaking of tires, time for a new front 120/70zr17 for mine. Just when you think it will last out the summer, the tire goblins sneak in at night and sand down all the tread.

Let me get back to you. I'll probably need another week but if I get a check in the mail I am expecting, that will do fine.
