Thanks Rick. I've had my mind on last weekend's event and then this training I'm going to in Portland. Gotta deal with the more imminent things first...

Anyway, we'll need to see if anyone is interested about doing one in October. I may have to hand over to someone else since I think it's going to be hunting season at that time. I have to go and run around the woods packing my rifle and spend time with my hubby.

I havent been to the falls in a long time but they're pretty easy to find. Go to Tiller then hang a left. I think most of the signs point you to Dumont Creek and the Falls are just past Dumont Creek.

Thanks for the directions. I now have an older style GoPro, so maybe I can find a way to attach it to the Sporty, and shoot some video up there and back.

Are we going to meet near Ricks' again? What Time? Is everyone going to go by the falls on the way? I haven't been there yet so it's OK with me if we have time.

I just found out that my son is coming down tomorrow afternoon or evening, I don't know what the time frame is going to be exactly. I will be there for the bike night, but better not try and squeeze a trip to the falls ahead of time. Plus, I may bug out early to spend time with family. That is unless I can talk them into coming out for a burger!

(Yeah, I have a son who doesn't live with us, long story if anyone is interested.)

I'll be riding locall all day tomorrow, off and on, if anyone is interested in a pre meeting ride. Then leave Ray's in Green for the official ride down to Canyonville for Bike Nite. KSU at 500pm, through Winston, Dillard, Dole Rd. then Canyonville-Riddle Rd. to Ken's Sidewalk Cafe'.

So far Justin and i are going down to Canyonville today, for the pre-ride. I'm leaving about 1100 this morning to do Clarks Branch-Buckhorn-Glide-North Bank Rd.-Wilbur to Umpqua, if anyone is interested. I'll detour by and give you a honk, Charlie.

Had a fun ride with Gwen, Geneen and Michael to Glide Store. Had to cut it short, see everybody in Canyonville tonight! Still plan on leaving Ray's in Green at 500.

I had to service the bike for this coming trip I am going on

oil changed
new front tire
new clutch cable
new front brakes
final drive oil changed
carb detuned for better mpg but will still haul butt on the interstate ran it up to 82 in third in a heartbeat then backed off to keep from getting a ticket.
While up in the air I cleaned a little grime off the chrome rims.

Tomorrow night I need to see if I can fix the detachable face plate on the radio it vibrates and looses the usb connection and maybe lower the fairing a half inch.

Must be nice to have a radio. I just sing to myself, and there aint no fixin' that.

I can run either the music from my phone through the bluetooth connection, or wire my nano into it. I decided that I can't handle the distraction that well to ride with it. Maybe out in the boonies like heading to Burns, but not where there is traffic. I'd rather have what Charlie has, that's cool.

Amy bought an MP3 player, we just havent used it yet. I'll have to try it, not too sure about blocking out noises. A lot of people say you can still hear the important stuff. I'll just have to try it and see.

The great thing about singing to yourself on the bike is nobody can hear it and for some of us that's a good thing. Plus it makes people think you're skitzo and stay away from you. LOl

It's so easy to get into the habit of singing or talking to yourself with the engine and helmet on. The problem is always when you get off the bike. People do react oddly...
