I Ride: the Kessle run in 11 parsecs...
Any one know where I can get a bike for cheap?
Just sold the Ninja (which saved Christmas) and should have a few hundred to get something else with two wheels... was looking at a craigslist Yamaha but the guy never got back to me with the details so now I'm back at square one...

Looking for anything really as long as it will take I-5 easily, I know of a Nighthawk 4 cyl 650 that needs a ton of work that I don't know how to do if anyone would help a brotha out in trade for beer... Just need to get something to ride until I can get the NEXT perfect bike....

OR if anyone has a loner that is gathering dust and cobwebs and needs it to be ridden and maintained ya know, just to keep the battery charged and stuff... Let me know

I have a 96' 900RR street-fighter. Was laid down and all the plastics are gone but I fixed her up and made her road-worthy. Anyone who rode with me last season will agree that the Ebay CBR ( That's how I put her back together ) would be a good bike with enough inline power to scorch your ball sack.

I'm in WA tho, so that's a shame. REAL cheap price sine it's just a garage paper weight now.

Too much beer, like 1k would be appropriate I believe for a good running bike that's in this condition in my opinion. Tabs are good as well.

Nah, that's her as of September. Used the rest of the paint up and parked her until I had time to do the sprocket / chain fix and instead went and got the RC-51 so now she just.. sits.

Someone in Astoria has a 1982 Honda CB750F for sale for $1300. I have the phone number and two pictures I took of the bike. It's being ridden daily and looks like it's in great shape. I was looking at it for one of my kids to ride, and to have around for nostalgia, but I can't really afford it at this time of year. I'm sure the price isn't firm. If you're interested, either call or write me here, and I'll send you the two pictures I took, and the phone number. If you don't have my number still, I think it's on my profile.

That's a decent CBR for that price if it's running good. A friend got a trashed '93 GSXR 600 for about 1200 and he thought he got a deal...

If you still have that thing in a couple of months, I might go for it.

If laying on the gas tank isn't your thing, I got a nice 86' KLR600 I'm asking $1200 for.

Actually laying on the tank is my thing, I want a duel sport one of these days but not for commuting on the freeway which is 90% of my riding....

Agreed, but still out of my price range.... I meant CHEAP cheap, not "oh hey that's cheap for that bike...."

If I can get it here I can get a mid 80's Nighthawk 650 that needs work... just need to get it here.... Unless I can come up with some more cash in the near future...

Yeah, hated to sell it but have presents under the tree to show for it so it is what it is... Got two interviews next week for jobs that pay enough to get me into a Concourse by summertime
