Was that a ride or just a show? If I wasn't working, I would come down there for that. We sport bike guys need to give each other some support. My dad lives less than 1/2 a mile from that park. That's a great looking bike you have.

It was just a gathering of the group Bikers for Christ bringing members from all over. I am not a member but it was open to everyone. Basically they sang some songs and did a little sermon and then said a prayer and bless each bike and rider individually.. I guess they do this every year at the beginning of riding season..

Later they are sponsoring two crash schools or something, the same one taught to police motorcycle riders... In the course you are taught how to lay it down and are given a bike to go lay down.... then you get to take your own bike out on the track to see what it'll do.... my neighbor across the street is a member and lets me know about all the events and stuff...

If anyone is interested in the school its should be about $70 and is open to everyone, you don't have to be or become a member...

That class sounds sweet. I will probably pass this year, however.

Where and when is the class held? What track do they use? I'm interested. Thanks, John

I don't have the dates yet but there is supposed to be one held at the track in Medford, and one in McMinnville taught by the instructors that teach the motorcycle cops from all over Oregon. As soon as I know more I will post it. Cost should be around $70 and for the training potion they will supply the bikes, after that you will be able to take your own and race it around with a bunch of Harley's since it is sponsored by Bikers for Christ which is a huge cruiser group...

mine is 4.1, I should get at least 150, but my throttle hand has a different opinion... I do know my light comes on at around 120-130...

PC will not really boost mileage enough to justify it ever. In fact, it will probably not do anything unless you have BIG modifications on there. Not just a slip-on, I'm talkin' full exhaust, intake work, timing advance/retard, etc.

Cranking more power/better fuel economy out of a bike gets expensive real quick, with little to show for it.

Most small mods will only boost you maybe 1 HP. I know on SV's the HP increase even after airbox mods, K&N or similar, and full system exhaust only boosts it like 2 HP over what the other mods did.

Yeah I agree, PCIII would only be minor improvements by being able to fine tune the fuel map. I have an Arrow slip on and thats all I really plan to do to help performance, and that was just for sound and weight reduction...

Hi all. Learned of this forum via Blockbuster lol. I ride a small cruiser; got it and my endorsement late February and I've put in about 900 miles so far, with a ride to Dora last weekend being the best I've had time for yet. I live and work in town and try to ride as much as possible even though I get so busy commuting is often the extent of it.

My next bike will be a cruiser too. I like the Suzuki Boulevard. I had a Ninja500 in the past put the look and feel of a cruiser is where I'm at. This Hyosung is great bc it has a wide heavy body and puts on the freeway or highway way better than I expected for a 250. And my wife wants it when I upgrade =)

I think that's my intro. It will have to be anyway, im overbooked today.

Welcome to the Roseburg circus. I come to town every once in awhile, my mom lives there. Maybe we'll get a group ride or night out soon. Except CascadeRider. (he has a fear of being in public, meeting new people)
