Hey Dave I think I did go to school with Ryan but I'm not sure about those streets, they don't sound familiar. Oh and my brother is John. He knows so many people through all his car trading and parts swapping. He's kind of a Gear head. I've been trying to get him to start riding bikes but he just doesn't. Well anyways have a good one and catch ya later.

you websites that answer all your how to technical questions.

Trust me these things eat $400.00 just as quick as any big bike. Especially if your doing some kind of custom job. This guy went all out it's not wood but actually a paint job.
http://www.whouse.jp/ogano/frameset.html

I have seen some other sites with more outragous stuff they do to these in ASIA.

Hey Reese!

Yeah, the classroom portion is really tough to teach. I'm afraid I did suck. Then, the following month, my daughter broke her arm Sat. night and I had started my master's degree online. Too much! So, I'll just stick to the range portion for now.

Love the little CB. What a cute bike. Yours must be blue then? Cool!

Gwen

Glad to have another vintage bike/r on the site 20 years is vintage, 30 years is classic,50 years is antique. I looked at one of those before my dream they are definetly a nice bike for cruisin. Wylerto glad to see you here too. Did you get that job? It's wakeboard season starting Saturday.

New to the site. The guy at Blockbuster clued me into the site. Figured I'd see what is what and who is who. I ride almost everyday, rain or shine. Prefer the latter, but we know how it is. I ride a 2001 Connie with 125K on the clock. I sometimes get confused when I get in a car, I start to wave at the bikes on the road and forget that leaning doesn't effect the way the car turns..... HA! The avatar is a favorite picture I have in Custer State Park, SD. (No I wasn't there during any freaking Sturgis event!) I was surrounded by a small herd of Bison who decided to cross the road right in front of me and well, there they are. I'm the guy on the Blue Connie with the Hi-viz stich riding lookinglass etc.... You can see me most summer weekends at the Douglas County fairgrounds teaching newbies how to be safe.

Hi Gwen.

Hi Gwen.
Werd

When I get in my pickup I think it is a slow turd, and I find myself looking through the turns and scanning the upcoming roads for obstacles.

Glad you made it... I'm the Blockbuster Guy LOL... Eventually I would like to get a Concours or ZX-14 to do some long distance touring on.... Wouldn't mind doing that on my Ninja but I would definately have to send my seat to www.greatdaytoride.com first....

Thanks Jason. Yeah the C-14 is pretty wild. I attended a long standing Concours Owners Group (COG) ride last weekend in Kamiah, Idaho (1400 mile weekend) and there where a lot of C-14's and a few FJR's as well as C-10's as well. One of the things about the C-14 I don't care for is the damn K-Pass FOB thing. One rider had it fall out of his pocket on the way up to Lolo pass and once he turned off the bike at the top opf the pass he couldn't turn it back on! Luckily someone found the litlte thing along the side of the road 50 miles away and ran it back up the mountain so the bike could be retrieved. But other than that and the large "cannon" exhaust the bike is sweet.

Hmmm, I happen to know of a Connie needing a new home. She's been lowered and would have to be lifted back to stock for you, but the price was less than $5000.

Thanks! Hey I had my eye on a 01 falco that was for sale at the Truiumph dealer in Eugene. Nice machine man!. I've been with the COnnie since 2001 and really would like to get a sport bike in the mix (as soon as finances come together).

The Ideal world would include a 1/2 liter and a 1 liter class sport bike. A dual sport and a sport touring machine. Ah yes dreamers.....

In any event I appreciate a nice machine and the falco is a nice machine.

We'll have to link up this summer.

Greetings Roseburg
Not sure where to start. I am looking for help in finding my real dad. Hoping maybe there might be some folks that have been around a while that will remember him.

His name is Ed Clemens ( maybe Clements or variation)
He lived in Roseburg in 1971. His mom worked at one of the courthouses there. ( don't know her name) His best friend was Red.

I have been trying to find him for the last 25 years. Without any success. As you can see I don't have much to go on and the years are just rolling by. Any Information would be greatly appreciated.

Peace-

Thursdays and Saturdays, huh?Well,I may have to get on down there with my G/F...Anyone here into Vintage Honda V4s?I have a 1984 VF700 Sabre I need to sell before I become a part of a tree somewhere,at my age the old reflexes just aren't what they were when I raced...My Naked Wing pretty much takes care of any knee-dragging urges I get...

Wolffin, there's a Clemons family that up until recently operated a boot/leather shop in downtown Roseburg. One of the sons works at Knechts on Diamond Lake Bl,his name is Travis.I know the spelling is different, but it may be a place to start, good luck...I think it's his father,(maybe Grandfather),named Walt,he's been in Roseburg for probably 50 years making boots for loggers, knows just about everybody that's ever been here...

Cool,I plan on being there this coming Thursday.I'm not sure if I'll be on the Wing or the Sabre, the Sabre's kinda ratty-looking,I had planned on stripping, detailing, and painting it,but then I got the Wing, and my priorities changed from working on a bike to riding one...So much for self-motivation...

Runs like a bat out of hell,though...Well,like a V4 Sabre at least...
