Chuck, dont lie! You dont have any friends.... Im out as well. My boy has a Brutal All-star game tonight out at Holland park. I scorched up Silverfalls last night after work. Great ride. A little windy. But good solo ride none the less! Chuck mind the paint on the road on your ride. They are marking some serious potholes! Its either the first or your second Bridge after Ripplebrook. The roadway has a pretty good drop after you cross. Be careful! I rode it on Sunday heading into Estacada. It was a good thing I wasnt carrying more speed or it would have definitely bent a rim if I hit it head on! There is a good 6"-8" lip on the edge.

The ride from Estacada - Detroit Wednesday was really nice. By buddy John and I rode at a moderate - brisk pace 55 min from the Shell station in Estacada - Detroit, didn't set any records but not bad. Once we got past Northfork res. we encountered only a couple of cages, all easily passed. Mid week is the best time for that road, saw 1 State cop in a 4x4 pickup by Faraday Dam, I glanced at my speedo, 75mph, he didn't pull out, no others the whole way.
I saw the pot hole just past ripplebrook, thanks for alerting us Todd. I think someone was trying to get their Hyundai out, it was completely swallowed!
I do believe NF 46 is in better shape than last year.
They were doing some road repair as we approached Detroit, large paved patches, back end got loose on one corner from the sand on the edges of the patches. It is nice to see that they are doing it right instead of shovelling a little hot mix in the pothole they are grinding and re paving a whole section of road.
Rode 22 down to Gates and went over Gates Hill to Northfork road, still a great road except the small gravel stretch, then Fern Hill road to Stayton, and on to the Wooden Nickel where we met my lovely wife for Dinner.
All in all pretty nice ride home from work.
