Gonna have to move some more of Mary Jo's junk out of the garage. ![]() I can fit a couple more in there. She reminded me that I broke my promise, "no more bikes until the Portland house is finished". It's so close and she listed it last week so I figured "what the heck". 99 DB4, pretty rare check the aluminum trellis frame, same as the Mantra. Of course it's an Italian V-Twin, you know me, 900cc Ducati Desmo Due engine, dry clutch and all. Not the fastest thing out there but how often do we ride above 130? Remember I'm slow anyway and I still have the Aprilia. Last edited by midvalleysuperbiker; 09-28-2009 at 08:09 AM.. |

Seller put those on just so it'll have fresh (FSVO) rubber, or are you goin' to Kansas or something? - Dean (Finally wore out the PR2s on the FJR... 14.5k miles. They've been to Kansas.) PS- sweet machine. Should make getting the Aprilia serviced look like a cakewalk. PPS- I know where there's a Mantra for sale. Just sayin'... Last edited by deanw; 10-05-2009 at 11:53 AM.. Good eye, the 020s was the first thing I noticed when I saw it in person. They appear to be new but I believe those tires have been out of production for a couple of years. It will be wearing something else next summer. I may put the 020s on my GT1000 and burn em down. I used to run them on my ZX11 and they did good on that old beast. I have 021s on my FJR and have no complaints. The bike just had a complete service 200 mi ago at Moto Corsa. Desmo Due engine so they know it well. Shouldn't be any worse than my Ducati. | |
