My favorite part was the segment between Molalla and Scotts Mills on the way back. Sawtell Rd that's the one. I love those roads! Last edited by r6jon; 10-24-2009 at 08:56 PM.. Reason: road name |

| Newbie Joined: Apr 2009 From: Salem I Ride: A Faster Than A Speeding Ticket Kind | An article posted in the paper states this with the names of riders removed....The second incident happened at 3:35 p.m., on Howell Prairie Road, where Postlewait observed a motorcycle go through two stop signs without stopping, and clocked the bike going 108 mph as it turned onto Sunnyview Road. The suspect then turned west on State Street and as it neared 74th Avenue passed an SUV in a series of blind curves and no passing zone. Postlewait initiated a traffic stop and made contact with the driver and passenger, both of Salem. The Biker said he had no idea how fast he was driving and was arrested for reckless driving, reckless endangering and violation of basic rule (108 in a 55 mph zone). Postlewait is a member of the Sheriff’s Office Traffic Safety Team (TST). He specifically drives an unmarked patrol car (White Mustang with Black stripe down center, heavily tinted windows Undersheriff Troy Clausen said “the work Deputy Postlewait did this weekend demonstrates the need for this type of specialized patrol vehicle. Deputy Postlewait was able to stop these drivers before they hurt themselves or someone else.” What a lie.......... I was followed for about two miles and this cop passed me at over a 100 with no lights and it is okay for him to pass people in a dangerous manner because he IS focusing on unsafe drivers......what a bunch of crap!! It is also a lie because I turned on Sunnyview and the cop ran the 4-way and took off after a fellow rider. He had to be doing way over the hundred mile mark to catch someone also doing a 100 plus. Sounds like the cop was being very unsafe to catch what he states is unsafe and doing exactly what he throws people in jail for and he is the good guy. Soon one of these cops is going to hurt or kill someone in one of his safe so called acts and it will always be the speeders at fault for his stupidity ----- ![]() |

Cut it anyway you want, if he's after you because of your riding or driving style and something horrible happens to you, him or anyone else, the legal system (and your neighbors) will likely agree that you lit the fuse. Let's not forget that the Marion County Sherriff dept traffic division gets the proceeds from the tickets. How do you think they pay for those Mustangs and Chargers? It's not about safety, its about $$$! How do we know he was actually going 108, the deputy's word? They never lie? DO they? They will collect a large toll from this brother! Can you say conflict of intrest. How did his wife get home? Did our intrepid deputy just leave her standing alongside the road? If so who is actually endangering her? I don't trust ANY Mustang in Marion County! Last edited by midvalleysuperbiker; 10-27-2009 at 12:26 PM.. |

Pretty dark and illegal! If it would had been me, you know I would have been nailed with that citation and any other crap he could make up to help stimulate the sheriffs departments pocket book! Man I hate those blood sucking lying Bas#$%ds!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
