I have plans tonight, but would have loved to meet up with you guys again. It's been way too long. I'm getting new tires on the bike very soon and I'll be ready to do some riding!!!! I THINK I HAD THREE PIECES .. SITTING IN MY KITCHEN LASTNIGHT AND TALKING WITH THIS EXTENTION OF MY FAMILY WAS JUST WHAT I NEEDED ... YOU COULDNT ASK FOR BETTER PEOPLE.. PERIOD... It was truly a wonderful evening - great food, good wine and excellent company. My particular thanks and appreciation to our hosts, Big Justin the Boilermaker and the uber-lovely Danni. Justin and Danni are absolute testament to the PNWRiders adage of our fellow male riders hooking–up with women who are WAY out of our league. Mind you, Justin is no slouch at 6’3”, 300 muscular pounds, intensely piercing eyes, quick wit, engaging personality and aerodynamic-yet-brutal good looks, but Danni is just much, much too beautiful, charming and intelligent for him! (And this I can say freely because SO many people have told me the same thing about me and my fiancée Julia)

The evening started with glasses of Chianti and enchanting conversation while Justin added mushrooms, olives and garlic to simmering meat in the large frying pan and noodles boiled in the pot o the stove. Danni waltzed around the kitchen with grace, arraigning tulips in two vases, working on the salad, toasting up the garlic bread and engaging us all with lively banter and a fantastic smile. Matt showed up with chocolate pie and two lovely ladies, the scoundrel! Before long others, drawn by the breathtaking aroma and roaring laughter, poured in through the front door and a good time was had by all.

The gastronomic orgy culminated in the late evening with satisfied stomachs all-round. It was a lovely evening laced with the camaraderie I’ve come to expect from people on this board. Being so warmly welcomed by Justin and Danni was delightful. The genuine love between these two was clearly evident and it gives us all hope that mankind, as a whole, is predestined to continue long into the future. I very much look forward to next time.

I don't know what that phrase means ".....after work.....".

Any day any time....someone decide. Looks like Wed., and if we eat after, a pizza place is usually the best bet.

Suggestion, open for change... Salem to Walerys, the long way.
Leave Salem on South River Rd into Independence.
Across through Monmouth and out the Monmouth Cutoff Rd to 223.
223 N through Dallas across 22 into Perrydale. Rt turn on Bethel all the way to 221.
221 into west salem, head to Walerys.

About 60 miles If we leave at 5:30, we should be at Wallerys by 7:00
