I've got a decent 3 to 4 hour route out towards the coast and back I've wanted to try out. Some slabbing on 22 of course...

Weather looks not so good. I am not a rain rider, so it would come down to how things look that day.

When you get to Valley Junction you should head up 22 to Hebo. And there might be snow on Bible Creek Rd. What time are we leaving again?

No snow, and the roads were all together fairly clear.

(Running counterclockwise, btw) I normally take 22 south from Hebo, but I found the other road coming off of 101 and really liked it; great pavement and nice tight sweepers running along side the creek/river. I like the run down that section of 101, too.

That could turn out to take a while. Let's look at leaving around 11.

I have no problem with the route as it stands. It is just that being the first nice Sat. in two weeks there could be a lot of traffic on 101. We could make it a sightseeing run........lol...

It also said it was going to be cloudy all day today and rainy yesterday so u never know... gotta love Oregon.

Hey! was down there at the K at around 11ish and nobody was there! (shoulda read the updates to this thread b4 I left) No worries though. Went to Cycle Country to go chat with friends - and drool on the new bikes

While there, I noticed that my rear tire is looking more bald than the top of my head!

Going to need to replacements. Was thinking of the Mich Pilot Road's. Whatchu guys runnin?

I have almost 6K on the stock Dunlops, and they worked good for me. But I heard the Pilot Roads should do better in the mileage. Since I'm no road racer I think when I jump that's what I'll go for.

Justin and I met up with Surety at the coast for a short jaunt then me and Justin took the long way home. I tried to run him out of gas but he cruised in on fumes and yes I paid for gas but only for the unemployed ones

Had a great time and thanks Derek for showing us that great strip of slab.

Man was it nice today or what? That late morning/early afternoon ride was very nice. Just added a power commander to the VFR and what a difference it made. The bike seems normal now ! Why it didn't come stock that way is just a
