Hi Matt:

Hope you're well. I rode Sunday morning in the rain but haven't been out of the office or work meetings during the daylight since. When are we going to get together and ride again? Should try for an early evening ride this Wednesday? Sneak out of work and meet at 5pm when it's still light out? Not saying I could make it for sure but I certainly would like to try. What do you say?

I was out Sunday. It was pretty cold. I got some hand guards to try getting my fingers out of the wind. Fingers and toes are all that gets cold.

I'm with Derek.....whatever.

Talk about disappointment. It’s Wednesday. It’s not raining. It’s not too cold and it’s not foggy. Sounds good for a Salem ride. Too bad I won’t be back from the airport in time to saddle up!

I hope some of you Wednesday Night Salem Area riders meet up for a ride.

Does anyone think they can get out Saturday? I am thinking of going out around the east valley - above and below Sublimity. It's supposed to be 48 and partly cloudy.

What time are you planning on heading out? I'm not positive that I can make it, but might be able to squeek in a ride.

I was thinking of leaving my place at 10:30-11:00.......pick up guys at Circle K if any chime in, and head out from there. Tool around and have a bite to eat somewhere around 2 or so - not, if it's not a popular decision. I'm flexible.

It is a 2004 Red GT that had 27K miles but had a new motor with about 600 miles on it now.

Anybody is welcome to go tomorrow. Robert - if you can make it and if it's not pissing rain let's meet at the Quick Stop on OR 51 and Polk St. (Hoffman Rd.) at 11, then trundle over to Circle K on 12th and if nobody is there head out toward Macleay. There are some nice roads I found out there last week.

That's cool. You are probably a good dad. Here's what you missed.

KingOgre and I went all around the valley and only stopped three times - this is the second, halfway up to Silver Falls. Great ride and Robert is like a booger - you can't shake him! Even well into triple digits. He rides a smokin' Blackbird.

Great ride!

I would say I'm less like a booger and more like a yoyo. Slow in the corners and catch up in the straights. For the first half hour I didn't think your brake light worked. For those who have not followed Bing44, he cruises up to the corner and dives in. KingOgre, scrubs a ton of speed, flops around and then blasts out the back side.

I made the mistake of showing my wife the pic you posted before reading the caption. She asked/demanded, "How WELL into triple digits did you get?"

HUGE mistake!! lol
Did you see the max on the GPS at that stop sign? I think there is something wrong with it.
That was one of the nicest rides I have been on. I am a big fan of only stop if you have to. HawnDuh and I did that one day too. Any time you want to go for any type of ride let me know.

Damn, I must have just missed you guys by minutes at the Circle K Saturday. Glad to see you had a great ride. I rode South alone and worked on the basics. I'm really looking forward to track time at PIR on 3-21-08 because it takes all the skill you can muster to hang with riders like Bing44 (Jim).

Next time, my friends, next time.

Naaahhh - I'm too old to go fast. is what I do best......

Let me know when you go to track days and I'll go with you. I'll bring the rubbing compound to help you get the scratches out of your fairings.

I don’t mind if fairings and leather end up with scratches
As long as the hide of my backside is in need of no patches . . .

Zero chance of rain Saturday or Sunday. I think by now everyone knows the Circle K's address on 12th St S. I'll be leaving there at 11 o'clock on the popular choice of days (or both) and would like to stop for pizza in Corvallis at American Dream. We can go to Silver Falls, Silverton, and then head south through Jefferson. Or not......lol

I'll check out Silver Falls Road first by air....
