jvl here. Live in the Aumsville area. You guys are killing me with these Saturday rides

. An assistant manager at motorcycle shop in Hillsboro and usually have to work that day

. But, with enough notice will try and play hookie from work

. Already know most of the folks in the Salem area and would like to suggest Sunday rides. So, you Monday through Friday folks please try and show a little love.

You dont happen to be in Heidelberg? I traveled all over Germany awhile back and had a blast there. And there's an American base in Heidelberg.
But nothing will beat the time I had on the Autobahn and when I was in Cologne and went down to Nurburg to race my Audi A3 rent-a-car at Nurburgring for a handful of Euros.

No I'm in Baumholder. It's about a hour or so from Heidelburg. The autobaun does kick ass, my M3 runs nicely at 250kmh but I wish I had my R1. I'm trying to get some leave around the 13th of April if you all are down for a ride. I'll post an Oregon number up when and if I get some leave next month. And I am active duty Army, a Sniper qualified Scout to be exact.

Damn I wish I was still there. If you ever get some time off you need to take your M3 to the Nurburgring. Its a badass race track open for public use at any time and I believe BMW uses it sometimes for testing. I think it costs about 15 euros to get in. The only thing is you got to be careful about not to crash since there is virtually no runoff.
Wish I could be a sniper haha, but my vision sucks and Im too much of a pansy to enlist.
Oh and Im down to ride anytime!

New to forum, happy to be here. Sort of in this no man's land between Albany and Salem known as J-town, so not sure where I belong. Riding an 03 VFR800 ABS and a backup 98 Katana 750 if needed or if a buddy is in town. Anything I should know? Looking forward to getting a chance to ride w/ you all sometime.

Yeah, stay with the Salem crowd, I live near Turner and Jefferson is in the Neighborhood, the other end of Parrish Gap road.

All the Albany guys & gals are welcome too.

Welcome Rocket. The VFR is a great bike! Keep an eye on the Salem board. Once weather improves and we have more sunlight there's a group of us that rides every Wednesday evening.

Can't make Saturday rides for obvious reasons, but I look forward to some Sunday rides. Did a quick run up Silver Falls Hwy and back today - apparently bicyclists here are just as crazy/angry as down in CA.

The cruisers are okay, I usually have the slowest bike on our group rides.

They will wait for you.

You can bring your 10R or 14 and wait for me.

There is a guy with a Valkyrie that rails, Larry is his name, we havn't heard from him in a while but I was impressed how fast he is on that thing.
